You play as Teriel, a master thief possessed by an ancient daemon (Artanak) and deported to the prison island of Peh. Hi locke.
Came here from his tweet.
Game looks cool.
Cool.
This looks fantastic. Sweet Jesus.
Ye, fo sho
That's some nice 18 fps you got there.
what are you talking about? Didn't see anything in this video that was as low as 18fps.
If you can rotate around is the view still isometric? I don't think it is.
Err yes, why wouldn't it be? Isometric has nothing to do with it being able to rotate or not. The lack of rotation in older games was because they used 2d-sprites and artwork, so if you could "rotate" the camera it would have thrown off the entire graphic engine of the games since they were depending on being a fixed angle.
For 3d games however they don't have this limitation, that's why many 3d-based isometric games allow it (Neverwinter Nights, Dungeon Siege, and most recently the excellent Divinity: Original Sin 2).
gyloir because the angles aren't really 30°/30°/30°. That's the definition of isometric. I understand that the industry wants to continue the fame of those titles, this is great, really. But the term could be improved.
Angles are actualy 120º/120º/120º, which make more sense. Also, from Wikipedia, it seems that these new games with rotating cameras are called pseudo-isometric. :)
Theres no steam store page yet? I want to add it to my wish list... oh well... I might forget about it then....
store.steampowered.com/app/471010/Seven_The_Days_Long_Gone/ here it is!
Thanks !
The gameplay looks fine, but I'm just not a fan of the art style.
I think this type of isometric look suits more point and click based games.
Remember.
NO Preorders.
Hi JEDI,
Any bad memories? Why being so negative?
Take care,

Why you telling the wrong side of force?
EX-Witcher devs m8, Pre-Order is real
Pre-order OP armor. NOPE.avi. I've followed this game for quite sometime, but now I am out.
Hi Troy it's not OP you can get better armors in the game - but design of the armor is unique
So what you are saying is it is pointless and you cut it out of the game for the singular purpose of preorder cancer.
How about you put all of the game in the game, and I buy that?
I can 100% say I would have preordered this if there was no terrible preorder DLC. I will now get the game when it is $5 on Steam.
Nobody is a fan of dumb preorder bonuses, but think of it this way. When you can't get specific guns with unique profiles or something similar without preordering, your annoyance makes sense. But when it is just a cosmetic difference, consider the preorder bonus to be more of a way of supporting the developer.
The armor is unique and not cosmetic only. I'm not purchasing a game that comes in chunks. If you want me to preorder put the entire game in the game.
Troy Warren You won't buy this game anyway. Stop wasting your time on pointless comments.
