I've managed to achieve similar ish results running Dfam VCO1 through a WMD C4RBN and experimenting with FM, wave folding and different filter modes, then back to DFAM through external input. Obviously not as good as this, but if I added an envelope follower it might get closer.
@vincent boissier Hi thanks for your reply! cool, in practice they are two different types of instruments so not only the box changes but also the type of sound! really interesting, I'm researching a lot about new versions of old hardware, and it's nice to find that in addition to the appearance in the new editions there is the possibility of having completely different sounds, fortunately I would add, we have the possibility to always experiment with new equipment
Oh, yes! The sensitrig would have done the job! The only advantage with the external trigger in is, that I could leave out a note if I don't send a trigger signal... thanks for reminding me on the sensitrig!!
@@RiemannKollektion As far as i know, the V1 input is more sensitive, that is why the switches to the left were added in V2. V2 has a tracking function i think V2 has a additional switch for the LFO i believe for saw, V1 only does sine LFO. I've never used a V2 so i can't really tell if there is a difference but it sounds very similar. Raw :p
@@mynewcolour V2 input triggers faster. With V1, u need the input at least at the middle for it to trigger the adsr, if u go adbove that, distortion comes in fast. V2 has a larger workable input range, so its input is less sensitive than the V1. That's how i see it.
I have to listen it again.
How he does it always?
Respect!
What a sound!
Everything you do is perfekt, pure inspiration 👏🏽🖤🎶
🙌
That's amazing!
Thank you! This is a great tutorial!
It’s very nice to see the unit used well.
This thing is insane. I need this bad!
Amazing buddy! ♥ Thanks!

Great tip!

Der Moog Filter ist etwas zurückhaltend
Wow! This sound more than a simple Filter! how many differences from the first version?

Glad you like it!

Cool stuff
Thanks!
Das ganze Video drauf gewartet dass endlich die Kick rein kommt :D
😂
is it possible to use it on a bus track to give a texture to a mix? it's not to much?
For a bus channel it's clearly too much!
I have a version 1
Does it sound differently or what did Sherman change?
