Revamped Passing is not inconsistent. If you understand the mecchanic at least. If its in the yellow its a perfect bullet. If you just tap it; itll be a lob. If you barely hold it for a split second to fill up a bit in the blue itll be a touch pass. If it gets in the red itll be an off target pass but that doesnt mean itll be wildly off target. I can typically put the ball anywhere i want it. Sometimes i lead my receiver too far and it causes the pass to go incomplete but thats a me issue, not the mechanic. Im running the Air Raid averaging 350 to 400 yards a game with a freshman qb on Heisman...
Actually yellow isn’t a perfect anything, yellow is literally more likely to be off target and also more likely to be dropped. Also if you don’t play online then don’t even comment, you have no idea how the game ACTUALLY plays. You only know how the game plays with no latency or other users on the field.

One of the worst parts of the actual gameplay is blocking. It’s so inconsistent, one play everyone will be blocked for 10 seconds straight, the next play the linemen will just let the DEs cross their face without even touching them. The formation of the pocket is still horrendous, I just don’t understand. It’s the single most important aspect of football and they haven’t been able to get it right in a decade plus. I think they just need to trash the frostbite engine and start over, take a few years off if you have to.
@@eliotjurgensen1421 You can’t slide protection on special teams. Go inspect a kickoff or punt return extremely carefully, the blocking AI is laughable. Even if you do slide correctly on a pass play there’s still no realistic pocket that forms. It’s just unbelievable to me that a billion dollar company struggles with the basics of football.
@@dn5578 i believe the reason for this is because all of the players on ST are LB/DB/WR/RB. None of them are going to have decent blocking stats, so they just let dudes walk by. The more I've played, the better i've gotten with OL protection. There are going to be times when guys just immediately get in the backfield...even with good players. Go watch a college football game. You gotta get the ball out of your hand. This game is alot more realistic than old games.

I’m perfectly fine with lineman getting beat, it happens, but when a lineman just stands there and doesn’t even move or react at all that’s when you lose me. There’s a reason why I haven’t bought a football game since 2016, and by what they’ve shown this year it’ll stay that way.
I had no problem with the revamped passing until after a week or two of the game. Switched to classic passing, still miss throws but more consistent than reveamped
Hold L2 to lead the receiver while he’s running downfield. Just make sure your pass lead slider isn’t set too high, or you’ll over compensate on throws quite often
Revamped is perfectly fine as long as you aren't overaiming which is why you're missing throws, you can't layer your throws with other systems. You can hit every blade of grass on the field on revamped
Stop using revamped lmao controlling the arc of the ball is something you want to do like 1 in maybe 10 pass attempts, and you can do it with LB and LT. Use placement/accuracy
It’s really not that hard to throw on revamped passing all you have to do is be adaptive if you play the game a decent amount you should know what works and doesn’t and when you expect something to work everything people call it “inconsistency” when really just get better
You guys in the comments hopefully understand that a lot of people making these videos feed you bullshit. Leave the settings on default. Choose a difficulty that fits your play style and have fun. I just recently finished a third year in Dynasty and went from AA to Heisman. Once you get the controls down, it all gets easier.
