For the chasing segment, italso worth noting that Garou's ult moveset was designed at a time where no-one could run so effectively. Remember, the only two characters were "Bald Hero" and Garou. So the speed boost was enough at the time. Not anymore, though!

I feel like the crushed rock diss is too much, it's actually a great option for movement and even if old garou ult had a speedboost 90% of the time you weren't gonna catch your opponent, and rock splitting fist is meant to be a combo ender so comparing it to hunter cruelty which is a combo extender is unfair.
Plus, you can also use Crushed Rock as a combo extender with a mini-upprrcut into flowing water and then final hunt. Just gotta know how to use it right!

note that if Garou player has brain, he will not use the crushed Rock to hit you, wasting your counter. This will prepare you for a hot plate of final hunt/whatever moves Garou has at his disposal.
I started TSB after it started to get popular when garou got released, his old ult moves were pretty good to combo with each other when he wasn't changed yet.
I thought for a sec i was the only person that thinks this, cause i thought i had a mandela effect where garous ult counter use to actually knock away opponents instead of doing a slam
I personally think new Garou ult is better because crushed rock is a dash move and their are no ranged moves in the old ult, if your really good like Wellworks (obviously) you will be able to hit them ez pz but with new players learning the game, or players that have been playing for a little while may not be able to hit it, just because they may not have mastered side dashing or forward dashing. but you can think what you want. and I hope I dont start an arguement.
Crushed rock is actually pretty good considering once someone uses an ultimate in public half the server also does causing A LOT of dust particles to appear making you unable to see jack.
Crushed rock should be a little faster, and i think hunters cruelty needs to come back. Garou have received a lot and when i mean by alot, i mean ALOT of nerfs, even if, he is still pretty good. The reason Garous old ult is bad now is because of him being the only character without ranged moves which now you need ranged moves to truly be affective. The new ult isn’t much better but it at least has one decent ranged move. Before Garous ult was updated ranged moves weren’t a big thing literally every character had which is why he used to be the best character now he obviously isn’t. Also the old ult preys peril always was buggy.
Are you really saying that new garou is better ? are you serious ? The lack of mobility was clearly carried by the insane damage, with only the 1, 3 and 4 skill, you could do a near one shot combo. The new garou doesn't have a good mobility too, it has a move with around 12 frames of start up with a mid speed and it's easily dodgeable. So it's not a decent ranged move cuz it's trash and finally the fact that old preys peril was always buggy isn't an argument at all

i heard somewhere even this cant access the true old garou ult because the old garou ult had much more Invincibility frames, but still very cool how we can see a part of the TSB history
Gotta remember that Old garou was actually nearly completely invincible in his ult, cause the old barrage had i-frames and on top of that his counter was pretty solid. And his final hunt didnt deal as much dmg, which made up for hunter's cruelty being able to combo extend.
you guys aren't noting that garou just recently got a new buff, which is the removed endlag for when you hit your crushed rock. This means that if you hit crushed rock you can instantly use final hunt and they wont be able to escape it. This is why new garou ult is just better
Tip: To baffle someone when you wanna rock splitting fist then crushed rock, sidedash anywhere then crushed rock. Enemy most likely will dash to you or sidedash away, which will fail, considering the jump length of crushed rock.
tbh i think garou's new ult needs a change it should instead use cosmic garou's moves and when they activate ult it drags players near him and then causes an explosion that can deal 40 damage 1st move is a counter it can counter all moves except saitama's 1st 2nd and 4th move 2nd move is cosmic punch this move can create a small portal where the garou ult grabs the player and smashes their face on the floor but this move only activates when cursor is present on a player 3rd move is cosmic barrage the garou ult runs around the enemy and then travels throught multiple portals causing a dent on the floor and then teleports in front of the enemy and does a punch barrage and then punches the ground causes an explosion 4th move is divine cosmic plummet where the garou ult launches a lot of rocks into the sky with you and and then jumps from rock to rock and punch you. also the more damage you do to the garou ult makes his ult bar go down,
Hunter cruelty is actually crude because it does less damage now and actually you can do more attacks while the hunter’s cruelty is the main first attack and yet they can escape.
I think I thought of something that could help,not completely solve the fact that Garous ultimate is basically used as a free heal but could still help, passive:hunters mark,when a player is hit by garous ultimate awakening they get slowed down by 35% this will apply until the player is dead or until the ultimate is gone
Or maybe it could go on stacks of 10% all the way up to 50% but then again if someone really tries they can avoid most of garous ultimate moves,also it’d cause a little more chaos as then most people would be slowed

The example you used of rock splitting fist which isn't supposed to be used as a combo starter wasn't a good example but i guess it does explain your point about the gap to dodge. But crushed rock is used as a combo starter because if you use crushed rock + water stream + final hunt you can kill them instantly. If you dont have final hunt you go into rock splitting fist instead. I get that they shouldn't have replaced the counter with crushed rock, But at the same time i dont think it would be fair to have a counter in an ult. It would make a Saitama main like me cry a river. I think instead of using crushed rock after splitting fist you should side dash + dash to save that ability. And once they dodge you use it, works most of the time for me because they waste their dash.
Tbh the new moveset is a better counter ult than others (except satiama), where you can chase, punish but be punished and very lethal (as he has a move that goes through satiama’s death counter) basically making a character where if you’re not careful you will die however, his old moveset is more of a combo ult where each and every move, perfectly combines into each other allowing the highest damage out put and hard to punish as well, basically a god damn Truck you do not want to be hit by. Also the old moveset fits garou more in my opinion and I prefer the combo too.
Honestly knowing Strongest dev team if they get enough complaints they might rework the ult. I’m sure they were even considering to begin with it’s not as flashy or strong as the new ones now

its a no brainer these ult moves got removed, once you got caught in a garou ult's grasp it'd be impossible to escape them. they replaced the moves to make garous ult more easier to escape. then again they were literally just copy and pasted from the normal garou moveset

nah if you play with pro player you will get cooked but the old 1 you have prey paril and its have fast cooldown then the normal one the pro player cant do anything if you did prey to him everytime he dash to you or side dash to you
I think the new garou ult contrast Garou in the anime alot better. He stops trying to go for combos and just trys to kill you, that's all he is focused on, with 2 dashes he's always on your tail. He's smelled blood and the waters are coated red. He is done reading your attacks and finding counterplay, all he is trying to do is finish you.
I got a move idea for garous ult name : rock of the flowing cascade : the person slams the ground then picks a rock then he rapidly throws it and you cant counter it cuz its too fast and unpredictable if the owner sees this garou needs range

Garou is the best ult because it has a 1 shot combo which is extremely fast and its very easy to land Just use crushed rock and use the final hunt Crushed rock does around 30% and final hunt does SO much damage it literally 1 shots with only 2 moves but it can only be used on 1 person because final hunt will never regen I have never seen anyone else do it before but only i have tried it
There's another method I did for it, all I did was go into build mode, and make the moveset just like the old one. (Btw it only works if you're already in Garou ult and then touch the block)

I have an idea: What if Crushed Rock had an aoe for when he misses sort of like Thunder Kick’s aoe, but he doesn’t get quite as much damage. The other option is to change the move into something into something like Toji’s shadow blitzing ult move like in Cursed Arena
probaly the ground smash thing could just be the old crushed rock anim when you land it but a bit more impactful i guess also no the shadow blitz idea kinda sucks since its completely wack like the fight mechanic
Me and my brother say that New Ult is better than Old Ult because of the chase capabilities and the combos that can be preformed, however we both agree that Garou is long overdue for ult rework

Why not combine prey’s peril and crushed rock as ultimate? Basically it acts like prey’s peril at first, if not used to counter anybody then you will dash forward like crushed rock. Boom, 2 moves in one. Btw that also means longer windup as a crushed rock but now at least you got very op counter/dash.
I first time played TSB when it was called Saitama Battlegrounds now its The Strongest Battlegrounds. i like the saitama ult tho, 4 moves, 1 shot, instant kill except for serious punch if the opponent is full health

I get that they shouldn't have replaced the counter with crushed rock, But at the same time i dont think it would be fair to have a counter in an ult. It would make a Saitama main like me cry a river.
I think instead of using crushed rock after splitting fist you should side dash + dash to save that ability. And once they dodge you use it, works most of the time for me because they waste their dash.
Imagine if they are just changed the ult counter to crushed rock. That will be so powerful.

Tbh the new moveset is a better counter ult than others (except satiama), where you can chase, punish but be punished and very lethal (as he has a move that goes through satiama’s death counter) basically making a character where if you’re not careful you will die however, his old moveset is more of a combo ult where each and every move, perfectly combines into each other allowing the highest damage out put and hard to punish as well, basically a god damn Truck you do not want to be hit by.
Also the old moveset fits garou more in my opinion and I prefer the combo too.
P.S I just realised this is technically better against teamers as it has a lot more AOE and has a counter
Honestly knowing Strongest dev team if they get enough complaints they might rework the ult. I’m sure they were even considering to begin with it’s not as flashy or strong as the new ones now

@@Mightbebens107 that "gives a chance" is a simple stun and free combo opportunity to smart players, meanwhile in the old one it was always very risky even AFTER the enemy missed an attack since all of Garou's old moves had s and if you didnt attack in time they could just counter-attack with final hunt or doomed prey
@@Mightbebens107 sometimes when u use crushed rock you have a wide opening which lets the opponent take advantage of it. The old ult tho it has lots of s, was more viable and was risky for the opponent if they missed the shot.

its a no brainer these ult moves got removed, once you got caught in a garou ult's grasp it'd be impossible to escape them. they replaced the moves to make garous ult more easier to escape. then again they were literally just copy and pasted from the normal garou moveset

I think they need to bring the old preys peril back since it's the only base counter move that can't be combo extended (if the move is hit completely) unlike atomic samurai's counter which can be combo extended

nah if you play with pro player you will get cooked but the old 1 you have prey paril and its have fast cooldown then the normal one the pro player cant do anything if you did prey to him everytime he dash to you or side dash to you
I think the new garou ult contrast Garou in the anime alot better. He stops trying to go for combos and just trys to kill you, that's all he is focused on, with 2 dashes he's always on your tail. He's smelled blood and the waters are coated red. He is done reading your attacks and finding counterplay, all he is trying to do is finish you.
I got a move idea for garous ult name : rock of the flowing cascade : the person slams the ground then picks a rock then he rapidly throws it and you cant counter it cuz its too fast and unpredictable if the owner sees this garou needs range
tip for landing crushed rock:
step 1: waste their ragdoll
step 2: land an m1 combo (m1 + m1+ m1+ uplift)
step 3: use crushed rock
step 4: profit
I feel like garou's crushed rock is actually pretty good, Although it's easy to counter, it's very easy to hit when you side dash and use it, if they have a counter you basically have 3 moves.

I just saw the new psychic move. Its name was like expulsive push or something like that and you could use it twice. But when I tried it, it was broken for me. I checked again and they removed it
Garou is the best ult because it has a 1 shot combo which is extremely fast and its very easy to land

Crushed rock does around 30% and final hunt does SO much damage it literally 1 shots with only 2 moves but it can only be used on 1 person because final hunt will never regen

There's another method I did for it, all I did was go into build mode, and make the moveset just like the old one. (Btw it only works if you're already in Garou ult and then touch the block)
Dude , the only thjng they should do is nerf garou base moves , like i dont think his first m1 does 3 damage , cuz i ranked it's really wierd , some sweat comes just lands 2 flowing and 2 hunter's grasp an we are dead , like that is crazy.

I have an idea: What if Crushed Rock had an aoe for when he misses sort of like Thunder Kick’s aoe, but he doesn’t get quite as much damage.
The other option is to change the move into something into something like Toji’s shadow blitzing ult move like in Cursed Arena
probaly the ground smash thing could just be the old crushed rock anim when you land it but a bit more impactful i guess
also no the shadow blitz idea kinda sucks since its completely wack like the fight mechanic
Me and my brother say that New Ult is better than Old Ult because of the chase capabilities and the combos that can be preformed, however we both agree that Garou is long overdue for ult rework
it just needs a full on rework, maybe monster garou. I think the old version isn't very creative because it just reuses his base moveset while the newer one just doesn't compete with the other characters
Why not combine prey’s peril and crushed rock as ultimate?
Basically it acts like prey’s peril at first, if not used to counter anybody then you will dash forward like crushed rock. Boom, 2 moves in one. Btw that also means longer windup as a crushed rock but now at least you got very op counter/dash.
I first time played TSB when it was called Saitama Battlegrounds now its The Strongest Battlegrounds. i like the saitama ult tho, 4 moves, 1 shot, instant kill except for serious punch if the opponent is full health
i hope garou ult gets reworked its so easy to run from and it has 0 cinematic cutscenes (not complaining)

My opinion crushed rock is good because it can serve as a combo extender after the 3rd m1 although not true the opponent is forced to use there side dash and you can kinda bait them into doing it then punish them with crushed rock
All they have to do is remove the end lag when you miss crushed rock for it to be somewhat viable
