@michealbraxton you're correct. I grew up under the BRITISH and I'm reaping the rewards my family and I. In Trinidad and abroad. Great education. Wealth all the good things. Most of all security. Not afraid. Now people are living in fear
So many weapons on display like North Korea. My late uncle was a highly respected policeman for as long as I knew him yet his police band leader's baton was the nearest thing to a weapon he ever weilded in public. Lately the police are so militarized in every sense.
@@puirYorick I beg to differ- Rwanda, El Salvador, post soviet union Russia, Escobar era Colombia would disagree, I could list more but I encourage people to read more and watch more documentaries. I used to believe that lie just like you but allowing goons to militarize is waaaay more dangerous
@@TheStateDecidesEverything I don't consider driving crime underground and morphing it into major organized crime cartels that become entangled within the government itself thus becoming indistinguishable from such corrupted governments. Yes educated research is a powerful tool indeed. No need to beg. Critical thinking however is a wonderful thing.
Brother Bob Marley said it, “ Emancipate yourself from mental slavery, none but us can free our minds!!!” The British exploited ALL the countries they colonized, oppressed and dehumanized millions of people.
Am not from this island but in mordern times this is very weak compare to what Venezuela have yall need air power and sea power look what happening in gaza and the middle east Russia Ukraine
Really, compared to Venezuela…???!!! Ok 2 things Venezuela is on a continent and Trinidad is an island so if you have to compare you compare like for like 2nd I don’t think there’s anybody left in Venezuela as Trinidad has nearly 50,000Venezuelans and counting By the way, Columbia has over 1 million Venezuelans 🤷🏽♀️🧐🤨
Why !One has to be independent, and stop depending on colonization of the British rules or others, many of us will be still slaves, and the intelligent ones would of migrated. Eric Williams put us on the map, with oil doing well, but the outsiders coming in, causing problems, look at Venezuela, the Asians are very proactive in every country, and are a force.

Are you aware of the crime situation? I guess not. The goons should parade with theirs too, they have a lot in mint condition.
@@TheStateDecidesEverything I am aware that militarizing policing has never worked to reduce crime effectively in ANY community ANYWHERE.
