I feel that way too. I find myself often angry and annoyed of the people that surround me not because I am “special” but I only feel comfortable with a handful of people (or alone) and there’s just one who gives me a feeling of warmth I always end up missing when she leaves. I long for a life where warmth isn’t scarce and I can see and feel the beauty in life. I didn’t think happiness like that existed, and I’m still dubious, but at least I know it can get better than what I feel now. I hope one day everyone finds that special kind of happiness they need.

This video (together with summer in portland and the aquarium) are so very relaxing, but this one definitely was the most comfortable one. Must be the coziest video on the entire internet. Erin, I wanted to personally let you know how much your videos mean to me. The past year my life has fallen apart. My entire family died save for my mom, dad, and uncle, and now my dad's been diagnosed with cancer. He had his vocal cords removed and will never speak or eat again. I've been sexually assaulted and was admitted to a mental institution for attempted suicide, then lost my grandmother while I was stuck inpatient. The suffering I've endured was nearly intolerable and sleep was incredibly hard to come by. But your videos have helped me sleep peacefully for the first time in ages. They give me such secondhand happiness, and your attitude and the way you perceive life has helped me to cope with the pain of my own. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping to bring me down from countless panic attacks and sleepless nights. You don't know just how much you mean to me.

Amazing. I rarely actually watch ASMR videos, usually only listen to them in the background, but this one grabbed me until the very end. The aesthetic is fantastic. The night scenes - especially the dinner at Departure - reminded me so much of David Lynch's Mulholland Drive, which is one of my favorite movies. This is way more than just another ASMR video. Erin, I wanted to personally let you know how much your videos mean to me. The past year my life has fallen apart. My entire family died save for my mom, dad, and uncle, and now my dad's been diagnosed with cancer. He had his vocal cords removed and will never speak or eat again. I've been sexually assaulted and was admitted to a mental institution for attempted suicide, then lost my grandmother while I was stuck inpatient. The suffering I've endured was nearly intolerable and sleep was incredibly hard to come by. But your videos have helped me sleep peacefully for the first time in ages. They give me such secondhand happiness, and your attitude and the way you perceive life has helped me to cope with the pain of my own. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping to bring me down from countless panic attacks and sleepless nights. You don't know just how much you mean to me.
So I know that this is an old comment, but I just wanted to say that you're amazing for going through all of that and still being here, and for sharing your story. I know things must be insanely difficult for you now, but I hope they get better for you and I wish you all the best out of life.

I return to Goodnight Moon's travel videos (Summer in the forest, Snowy day in concord and this one) with such joy... I love the rambles and appreciate all the effort put into the roleplays but I am really looking forward to some new travel videos. Amazing. I rarely actually watch ASMR videos, usually only listen to them in the background, but this one grabbed me until the very end.
The aesthetic is fantastic. The night scenes - especially the dinner at Departure - reminded me so much of David Lynch's Mulholland Drive, which is one of my favorite movies.
