About Gardens of Peace
Gardens of Peace Muslim Cemetery serves the Muslim community in Greater London. We are a registered charity and therefore non-profit making. We are not supported or subsidised by local authorities nor any other parties, instead we rely solely on Lillah donations and burial and funeral fees to maintain the cemetery, pay wages of staff and to build a fund for future maintenance and development of new land.
We are located on Elmbridge Road, Hainault and Five Oaks Lane, Chigwell. We are easily accessible by road, bus and tube.

In 2007, we acquired a new 30 acre site called Oak Farm, Maylands Field, Colchester Road, Romford, RM3 0NZ.
Initial work has commenced which includes boundary fencing, planting of trees and shrubs and the construction of car parking, roads, paths and pavillion buildings as shown on the masterplan. The cemetery will be ready for burials in Summer 2022.
