I bought this and I’m in love, get it if you see it, I liked it when I initially opened it, but then poured another glass of it a week later from my home whisky bar and was blown away, very strong vanilla and it went down like 43%, not 51%. I only drink scotch near unless it’s over 55%, so I don’t know what it’s like if you add a little water, but it was amazing neat the second time.

Astar was high abv as well. I think above 51%. Also, yes, Dr. Lumsden’s PhD was in yeast physiology.

Kind of a $35 with different yeast that they will try to sell for $100. I saw Dr. Bill interviewed and he said it was almost 10 years old.

Alta - 130usd, 10yo - (30 - 40) usd. sounds like a gimik.
