- The UK and Ireland may not be countries that immediately spring to mind when teaching English, and not the most ‘exotic’ of TEFL destinations either - particularly during the winter months!
However, you can find a whole host of opportunities teaching on a one-to-one basis, schools and colleges, through voluntary organisations, as well as at summer schools.
Join us Friday 17th March - St. Patrick’s Day - where we’ll be talking all about the teaching opportunities available across the Green Isle and UK.

So, let me just understand. You need a VISA even to just teach at a summer camp in the UK, even though it's only for roughly three months? Is this the same for all or does it differ depending on where you're from? So for instance, is it the same requirement for a VISA to teach at a summer camp for a U.S. resident as opposed to someone say from Ecuador? Just want clarification on this. Also, how hard is it for someone from the U.S. to get a work VISA for the UK?
