This guy is wrong a lot. I took his advice last year and drafted some absolute dog shit teams because of it. Promise you he hasnt won a championship for a home league ever.
3:39 joe mixon was top 5 rb on a team that didnt even run the ball often, also being extremely inefficient. Thats the power of volume. Raachad white also was a volume demon and was 10 ten rb. who cares about miss tackle rate when youre at the 4 yard line.
Just so you know, a lot of people that get the "stack" for QB and WR. To me that's not a bad stack either. With the running upside scramble drills are going to allow get loose behind the D. I get what I believe my team needs, not passing them by because he's not a value... I don't care where anyone else is drafting someone, also Saquan is way better than you suggest.
This guy acts like Saquan was not behind the Giants o line. He's going to get a bump because of Hurts, Smith, Brown, Goeddart. Too many threats to worry about the RB.
In my home league last week, Aiyuk fell to the 5.06, and I couldn't pass on him. I know you say he's a bust target in the 3rd, but in the 5th I feel like I got a great deal to pair with Chase (1st), Kupp (3rd), and Rice (in 7). RB is a little weak but I couldn't pass that value Aiyuk was in the 5th. He's riding my bench until the issues work themselves out.
2 wr 2 flex full ppr league Love the content. I’m trying to trade J chase and R Stevenson but I can’t decide what’s the best option. (I have Nabers, R Rice, Ja’marr, and Ayiuk but only got Etienne, R Stevenson, Blake Corum, Ty Chandler, and Brian Robinson Jr. for rbs. Should I trade J chase and R Stevenson for Breece + S diggs, Gibbs + Waddle, Barkley + D smith, or Puka + J Mixon. These are the best options I’ve seen.
This is a David Montgomery to the lions situation for Saquon He will have a better o line a better o coordinator and less stacked boxes Also there only years sanders and swift had 1000 yards was behind Eagles o line Time will tell if your wrong
I think the saquon on eagles scares me more for smith over saquon but i get it… just see smith taking dips wirh dallas g on feild and i think Barkley will still command more volume then any other rb in hurts nfl career
TE discussion: I agree with your overall take. Rather pay 5 round price on Kincaid than 3 round with Laporta. BUT, in half of my drafts, there was a insane TE frenzy. Like: McBride/Andrews/Kincaid in 4-5 picks. After that, the position takes a massive drop. As for now, in sleeper, I assume this run will happen in the turn of rounds 4-5.
@@TheOne-tf7tp That proves my point. Teams get desperate when the top5 go away, and start drafting Kitts and Engram in the same round, which is bunkers. I just saw it AGAIN just 30 minutes ago.
@@MST3Killa heard Engram is playing well in preseason, cool. But Brian Thomas will get his 8 targets/game by mid-season, that not even a bold prediction. Lawrence had nobody to throw in 2023
@@guilhermerubira1842 as I said, hes a value TE w good upside after the top guys go. Having someone to throw to hasn't negated good TE work elsewhere. Hockenson in Minnesota before his injury. LaPorta in Detroit. Kittle in SF. Kelce in KC. Gronk on the Pats. ...sometimes having more WR weapons on the field opens up TEs for more targets and or bigger gains. I'd feel pretty decent with him as a value TE given the kind of game they play in Jac.
I mean, I wasn’t always pleased, but Swift did well with Philly and isn’t near the talent level of Barkley. He got robbed outta Rushing TDs which is my only fear for Saquon
In my home league draft this past weekend on ESPN: Barkley 1.09, I got AJB 1.11 Evans 2.11/Pittman 2.12/Kamara 3.08, I got Waddle 3.11 Laporta 4.01 (decent value), I got Hurts 4.02, played him at the turn and got a falling Kincaid at 6.02 Allen 7.07, I got Diontae 7.11 (WR4) You can really take advantage of these terrible terrible rankings on these sites
I have kind of instinctively avoided all of these guys for several weeks now. Your video crystallizes my thought process. I don’t hate Saquon, but I do think he’s more likely to be a sinkhole than a stud. Both outcomes are within the realm of possibility. So my compromise has been to take him when he’s fallen below JT, Achane and Kyren - which happens occasionally. I probably have him in around 3% of my lineups, and I’m comfortable with that. (Same goes for Aiyuk, who I took a few times before all of the trade rumors but have only taken once out of 100 drafts since.)
Hmm, just grabbed Barkley in an 200 dollar, full-PPR, auction for 41. That was the 13th most expensive player. I regret it a little because I don't like tying up that much money early (there's 3 flex spots to fill too). I do think this is a great O-line, a great offense, and defenses will have to worry about AJB, D. Smith, and Hurts every play as well instead of focusing/loading the box against Barkley. That's balanced a bit by all of those other guys taking touches and TDs, but I think he'll get his.
I think saying Malik Nabers over Mike Evans is crazy, you need a decent QB to get these crazy stats. Daniel Jones is below average and has yet to have any TE or WR be relevant in fantasy. Id say for sure if Nabers was on a different team.
I got Barkley at RB 11 in a 3 WR and a flex league, fill ppr, and 6 points for passing TDS. I had to get someone as a decent RB before they ran out. My secound RB is Mosert if that tells you anything. But i also got Jefferson, Debo, and Devante Smith as my starting WRs and Hurts and Picard so…😂
Barkley and Henry in R2 will silence a lot of critics. Both are going to offenses where the TD upside is light years ahead of anything they’ve had in their careers Would you rather Drake London/Adams? Or would you rather have Barkley/Henry? Easy choice for me
I have Derrick Henry in a 3 year keeper league in my 3rd year at the 6th pick 1st round. I got drake London in the 4th round as a keeper and waddle in the 10th round as a keeper. Should I let Henry go and keep those 2 ?

That’s not true. Swift had a bunch of runs inside of the 10 & 5 but couldn’t punch it in. Jalen had all of those rushing TD’s because his RB’s were weak. Barkley will more than likely cash in on the opportunities that Swift couldn’t.
Love the channel man. Great breakdowns.
I drafted Evans and Pittman in my 10 man league at pick 6, but I got them in the 4th and 5th round
U fantasy nerds be acting like yall know football. Yall just be looking at the fantasy points 😂
Saquon Barkley isn’t talented now? You really just said that. Good lord I get hot takes but this is just a terrible take l.
can you explain how achane and Gibbs who split carries on their teams will outscore a back who owns their team backfield ….. then bringing up tackle avoiding stats on the worse team is crazy just watch the eye test look at the film instead of analytic numbers that lie
Mike evans has been a 1000+ yard wr for life 8-9 seasons in a row, this guy just does not know football
“Saquon bad offensive line should have helped him” makes zero flippin sense bud
A week or two ago I saw like 43.6k subscribers and wondered whether it would be 50k this offseason. Great work, Mr. August
Agree on everyone but Saquon. I think he is gonna smash in that offense
Everyone sleeps on Mike Evans, but the man produces
Cold take: Josh Jacobs will not return value this year
Cold take
@@arronjorgenson9898 :)
Buggin
Josh Jacobs is the only quality back on a run heavy high scoring offense.. Dillon hurt.. Llyod hurt.. this guy's take is ice and poopoo
agree the packers are a passing team
This guy acts like Saquan was not behind the Giants o line. He's going to get a bump because of Hurts, Smith, Brown, Goeddart. Too many threats to worry about the RB.
Look at barkely tonight lmao
Not putting Devon achane in here is wild or Marin Harrison Jr screens shot my comment they won't get near there adp
Kupp in the 3rd was a waste...
@@boricuafrican1 Kupp is a value in the 3rd. Everyone is sleeping on him cause he had a lingering hammy last year and was never 100%.
@@cryptomaniac2 value in the 3rd in a 14+ team league.
@@boricuafrican1 😂 someone must have gotten burned by Kupp last year. Go cry in a corner
The Saquon glaze in here is wild
2 wr 2 flex full ppr league
Love the content.
This is a David Montgomery to the lions situation for Saquon
He will have a better o line a better o coordinator and less stacked boxes
Also there only years sanders and swift had 1000 yards was behind Eagles o line
Time will tell if your wrong
I got Mike Evans 4th round 4th pick, happy with that :D
Agree with all except LaPorta. He's literally wr 2 or 3 in that offense and Detroit drafted no help on offense. He's built to last.
100% agree with your saquon take I’d rather Taylor or kyren
Swift had a good season with eagles. Barkley will be blow up. Don’t fade bark
I think the saquon on eagles scares me more for smith over saquon but i get it… just see smith taking dips wirh dallas g on feild and i think Barkley will still command more volume then any other rb in hurts nfl career
Oh boy who saw this coming…
I would not take Achon before Saquan lol Eagles love to run run run Saquan gonna be top 3 if healthy no doubt.
I get this guy needs content, but this is the definition of overthinking it.
love your content man thanks for all the advice
TE discussion: I agree with your overall take. Rather pay 5 round price on Kincaid than 3 round with Laporta.
BUT, in half of my drafts, there was a insane TE frenzy. Like: McBride/Andrews/Kincaid in 4-5 picks. After that, the position takes a massive drop. As for now, in sleeper, I assume this run will happen in the turn of rounds 4-5.
Not really, you can auto get engram and pitts after those
Engram is my value TE when those other guys go.
I think you're wrong about Saquan
He is obviously
Got barkley in the 3rd it was a steal 👌🏻
Saquon looked pretty good last night to me
I mean, I wasn’t always pleased, but Swift did well with Philly and isn’t near the talent level of Barkley. He got robbed outta Rushing TDs which is my only fear for Saquon
In my home league draft this past weekend on ESPN:
Barkley 1.09, I got AJB 1.11
Evans 2.11/Pittman 2.12/Kamara 3.08, I got Waddle 3.11
Laporta 4.01 (decent value), I got Hurts 4.02, played him at the turn and got a falling Kincaid at 6.02
Allen 7.07, I got Diontae 7.11 (WR4)
You can really take advantage of these terrible terrible rankings on these sites
great stuff brother ,, good luck this season !!
You too!
This is funny. I definitely took LaPorta early and ended up with Zay Flowers as my top receiver😂
But i also got Jefferson, Debo, and Devante Smith as my starting WRs and Hurts and Picard so…😂
Barkley is probably rb1 week 1, glad i drafted him quite a bit. 😂
Barkley and Henry in R2 will silence a lot of critics. Both are going to offenses where the TD upside is light years ahead of anything they’ve had in their careers
Would you rather Drake London/Adams? Or would you rather have Barkley/Henry? Easy choice for me
Don’t get hate comments on Saquon being a bust pick. Ron is just saying he’s not worth it at the 1/2 turn in home leagues.
He literally said I would rather have a talented Back like Jonathan Taylor lol. Stop it
I have Derrick Henry in a 3 year keeper league in my 3rd year at the 6th pick 1st round. I got drake London in the 4th round as a keeper and waddle in the 10th round as a keeper. Should I let Henry go and keep those 2 ?
10 man ppr pick 10 Saquon Gibbs DK nabers Devonta Kincaid rashee think I did well just don’t agree with the saquon analysis but can respect it maybe should’ve gone kyren but really like my draft
Ron the term would be “how to use an API” or “how to make calls to an API”
Saying “how to use api” is like saying “I know how to use hammer”
The best thing about knowing Ron is the content. The worse is that I can’t send the plug to my friends😢
Subbed to the patreon my boy. The rankings got me leaving my draft feeling high T
My homeboy in my home league just took Kamara in the second round. 😂😂😭😭
Don’t the eagles have top 5 oline
Can you please upload a Video after the regular season, in which you show on which ones you were wrong and on which you were right?
I’m a diehard.. all that has been preached to hurts is too check down to Barkley a lot this year.. via Kellen Moore! Tbh I feel like your a bit off with those flawed stats on evans an barkley.. dude has 1000 yards receiving since his rookie year straight bro. And hasn’t had less then 5/6 touchdowns I believe ever. Js I like your content tho, just my opinion
