I love my GSP, but she has been a challenge to train. GSP’s are strong willed dogs and if allowed to they will hunt for themselves instead of you. So I stay on her to remind her she’s working for me. Then I spoil the crap outta her! Thanks for watching!

This might not answer your question but here goes. Pheasant meat is just like chicken in that the breast meat is light and the leg meat is dark. That being said pheasant does not taste like chicken. It’s leaner and has a taste all its own. It’s savory but if over cooked can be dry. I suggest you try it and see for yourself. I did put up a video about cooking pheasant the old Italian way. Look for it in my playlists.
