I agree with you completely. As an informed Esan villager that grew up in a dancing environment, Oyomon was by far the best group. However, my appreciations and congratulations goes to all the participants.
I am not from your communities but as an ex dancer. They where fair in given ebhura first position, reason being that, they have good flute and sound drummer like oyomon community but their introductions and conclusion of their dance was second to none and best in class. But oyomon deserved second position not Eguare. This is my sincere and unbiased judgement. They should make it all Esan local governments affairs where selected best dancers from each local government will competete for the trophy. And as a national cultural carnival events like calabar carnival and way of toursim and employment for a week long events in Esan land I wish well to do men and women of Esan land will key into this so that our culture will not die.
