Oh this is PERFECT! Well, it's much more than perfect. Everything came out great especially the guitar solo towards the end (I'm sure that must have been insanely difficult to create)
Holy *CRAP*! This sounds a lot more hardcore with the X guitars. On the subject of this song, Audiosurf 2 places the bonus block with the crowd cheer right as the main part of the song kicks in in Mono.
I'm enjoying Audiosurf 2, the Mono mode has more of a focus of filling up the grid rather than picking up every single block and, of course, the workshop support. Someone's already made a good portion of the F-Zero machines which makes me want to play F-Zero songs even more.

Thanks! Yeah I had to make use of some dist. amps to make that synth-drop boom. Listening to the solo at the end carefully, I was able to pick out some interesting parts which otherwise I wouldn't have made out in passing.
man this is great, but a nice challenge might be creating GX sand ocean's tune (8 gutairs) in the "X style". would be interested in seeing how that would turn out
Thanks! I already know how it's gonna turn out, as I did 2 years ago and recycled it in the bin...LOL but the same happened with Feel Our Pain so I'm looking forward to seeing how it would turn out now.
Assuming the racer's machines are 4-pole, salient rotors that rotate at 1,800 RPM, we get (1,800*1,800)+log(pi) = 3,240,000.497 RPM^2 = 1,800 RPM = 1,800 beats per minute... That's super fast! Great job on taking this tune and matching the F-Zero style. Your sequencing on the solo came out great.

DUUUUDE I LOVE THIS, SUBSCRIBED i missed Tony Thai's remixes so much, it's been so long since anyone picked this concept up and you're doing it justice have you considered doing a collab for SiIvaGunner? lol on an obligatory side note, i'd love to hear "Winning Run" from Super Hang On in F-Zero X style, something from Sonic Adventure 2, or some GX character themes of your choice. aaaah i need to come up with more ideas for this
I'm glad you liked it. Tony Thai seems to have closed his site down so I'm guessing he doesn't do these things anymore with the FZX sounds. I had his permission to use the sounds he managed to get hands on so now it's what I do a lot on UA-cam, being a fan of F-Zero. Unless I'm approached by a potential collaborator, I won't bother as I've been let down twice. I'll add your request to the list and have been working on GX's Billy theme for some time.
I'm okey with GX music, is so good! but X's heavier rock is truly what I like and now if you mix the heaviest tune in GX playing along the harder 64-bit style is just AMAZING!!
Oh wow! You’ve done an excellent job with this! I mean, the readily available midi for this track doesn’t come even close to the awesome job you‘ve done! :D This might be an out-of-the-blue request, but is it possible you could remix Guile’s Theme from Street Fighter 2? (Preferably using Moccy’s midi from vgmusic.com, in the SNES Section.) You can do it in your own time, if you feel like it. Oh, and here’s a like from me. :)
At the moment I'm in the process of completing my Xtreme Velocity project. I'll be getting back to other remixes after and I've been requested Guiles theme a few times (I think I attempted it once myself but lost interest) but I'll start doing it soon.
Hey, Remix Rave! Me again. I just thought I'd let you know a few things; 1) I managed to acquire the instruments to "F-Zero X" recently, and I've done a couple of "Street Fighter" Themes recently. 2) I do appreciate Your willingness to have done Guile's Theme when you are able to. 3) Before I work on anymore Remixes with "X" Instruments, I have two questions; Q1) Have you recently used the .b4p "Organ" file? Q2) And If so, do you know of a good vst (or anything else that works) to recommend for using ".b4p" files? I’m having trouble figuring out the “.b4p” organ file. Thanks in advance. :)
You should use Native Instruments' B4II (B42) vst to load any b4p files you have. When you search through the file explorer from the vst, the preset won't be visible, but typing the first few letters of the preset name should prompt up the file and you should be able to just load it fine. You might need to add a ".b4a" extension to your preset, without erasing the previous extension.
Just out of curiosity, what is that distorted instrument? Is it the guitar only more distorted than when it was sampled, or is that the synth? That part starts at 0:51.
Synth. In hindsight, I would avoid copying the GX version back-to-back if I was to ever do an X style version again. Sometimes it's not necessary to replicate every aspect of the GX OST. The genre is different to X and is more technical.
I can't stop listening to your remix that makes me want to do a mashup with this song and the original. Can we do this? It's your permission. I'll give you all the credits on your remix.
weird how i lost my taste for feel our pain, seeing as it was one of if not my favorite track as a kid, but now i see it as one of the less good tracks in the game (not saying it's bad, i just lost my taste for it)
i feel I can't enjoy this one as much as the others. it does suit the level very well, but it's not something I'd listen to again and again, like osc-sync carnival or paper engine
*Holy shit.* This version shreds. Proof that X style was simply top notch.
The year 2030 parallel universe version of me is blasting this in my headphones on my SpaceX passenger flight to Mars right now… #allTold

Oh this is PERFECT! Well, it's much more than perfect. Everything came out great especially the guitar solo towards the end (I'm sure that must have been insanely difficult to create)
Thanks! Some parts of the solo I had to kinda improvise on.
Holy *CRAP*! This sounds a lot more hardcore with the X guitars. On the subject of this song, Audiosurf 2 places the bonus block with the crowd cheer right as the main part of the song kicks in in Mono.
Thanks. I still have Audiosurf 1. I wonder what it'll be like with this track.

Yeah I prefer to just collide through the trail of blocks avoiding the grey ones as fast as possible. Just see how the rhythm appears on a track.
If F-Zero is being made for the switch; this should be the official song for the Fire Field Tracks.

More like keep a similar style to f-zero x, I feel they deviated way too much in GX
No wonder those guitars, the Yakuza composer is a maniac with those
If F-Zero doesn't fill up our need of Fast, this remix does !
Hopefully there'll be an F-Zero soon with the Switch. We're all counting on it...
I played this while driving my Dodge Neon. It is now a Dodge Viper.
Ryker Lommel well that's good to hear! :)

That description is hilarious. I am seriously impressed with how accurate the solo is
I feel like this is just as great as the Original or maybe even better. Very well done man.
Thanks!
This is... an absolutely genius idea. I love every second of it!
everything is better with x guitars. This sounds way more awesome in my opinion than the og soundtrack.

Thanks! I think the solo towards the end before the loop is a bit out of sync, I don't know, I'll leave it to the audience to see.
Wow!! thats perfect!! Keep going!! :)!!!
I think too that the final lap was difficult but you did it at the end!!
Thanks! It was difficult indeed.

I saw the nom and thought you were going for "nominal", so I kind of understood hahaha. Definitely can't eat these tasty beats!
