Im 40 years old and i just bought this watch, my friend had one when we were 15 and i ALWAYS wanted this watch but never had any money to buy it, i also wanted it cuz i was (am) really bad at math, i went to a store yesterday and saw kids buying watches and i said u know what i can buy that watch now that im 40 and i still want it, fuck it ill buy it so i did, wearing it right now.

This watch is so lightweight and i use the calculator on a daily basis.

The watch is actually correct. You have the date incorrectly set as 2006-August-20 (06 08 20), which is in fact a Sunday. The proper way to set the date is year first, month second, day third. 20 (Year), 06 (Month), 08 (Day).

YAY! Now I can enjoy my CA-53W with the hourly chime (*beep beep at the top of every hour, just like a bird clock!). TMI: I'm mouth-watering for an F1-58 in gold for the larger display and backlight! Duly noted: AE-1000 = most masculine. Longest = CA-53W F-91W & A-158 have backlights!

Hey man, I can't believe your choice of watches in this video because those are just the ones that I own. I have the CA-53W just like yours and the F-91W (the popular "Foxtrot 91 Whiskey" also known as the "terrorist watch"'). In 2010 I bought the AE-1000W, but mine is the silver version with the metal bracelet. In addition to these, since 1981 I have the legendary CA-90 with the invader game (my first Casio). Unfortunately, over the years it came to a pretty poor condition, so I replaced it in 2014 with a CA-901 (same, but metal version) when I found one on ebay in mint condition, and had to pay about 12x its original price since it is now a real rarity. I don't have to say, I don't need this sort of tutorial as I am familiar with this kind of watches for whole my life, but I was keen to see this choice of watches just like mine in one place. :-)
When trying to change the "month" on the date, when I press 9 for September, nothing happens. But when I press any other number like 8, 4 or 7, it works. Do you think maybe the 9 key is broken?
