They suck their fingers because they are scared and dont have a mother. This is how they act in a world they dont understand. Normally they have their mothers breast to console them and make them feel safe and comforted. I dont rhink she is intentionally trying to hurt him/her but the lack of empathy from most creators is geared more towards just showing the baby doing baby things. Ive only seen ONE creator ONE, hold his baby monkey in his arm, close to his chest to feed. Yes a man had more knowledge and empathy for a newborn monkey that she didnt suck her hands all day. She looked into his eyes while feeding and shed fall asleep in his arms feeling fed, safe and content.
