    Hey jaz, i just got graduated from my dental school in Iran, it was so nice heading to your videos on youtube. I really nead to collect & review my knowledge of 6 years which i think is kind of blurry especially in my older courses. tnx

    Hello from Denmark, great stuff. G premio bond is great for all bonding protocols, including total etch, but it’s as always sensitive to the technique used, so I agree, do selective etch. And regarding sensitivity, etching dentine wrong, where you etch the tubules deeper than the bond penetrates, will cause it. And having rubbing contacts with non axial forces, will make the tooth stay sensitive until it breaks, wears or intrudes.

    Do you place the rubber dam before or after caries removal?

      Most cases I will place it before hand - I love working under Dam. Even to remove the caries under Dam.
      The exception may be if the radiograph suggests that the caries is mega subgingival - in such cases it may be prudent to pre wedge and remove caries first
