Thank you, yes they did both the 12V bricks are great to add lights for buildings, trains and lampposts. The 9V bricks are nice too, but the cabling over longer distances are made more difficult due to the connection system.
@@pastajensen That's a great find. I won't have stories like that, but my guess is I am creating a lot of future stories of finding old LEGO sets for future generations. And by the looks of thing, you are too.

Had it planned for a while but did not have the energy (besides a few minor adjustments on the track system) before now, filming was the easy part, editing took quite some time. I used an old gopro borrowed from my brother in-law for the FPV shots.
That characteristic sound of the 12V engine is so unmistakeable!
I love that sound, he! even the cat's love it sometimes they wait around the table just for me to run it.
And those night lights are amazing - wondrous.

I love that sound to and so do the cats, we do have an in-house electrician and he just runs with it :D (yes that's me).
Wow! Impressive! And the layout is cool. Looks more like a model railway than a Lego city, partly because of that great train collection.
