AIWA AD6500 - Reassembly, mild disaster strikes!!

Back with the AIWA. This is going on rather longer than I thought it would. The project seems to be throwing up issues at each turn, the latest being that the unit will stop playing if laid flat, but......works fine when the unit is placed on its side. The left channel is also intermittent.
Playback is very slow, off camera I fitted a new belt which is a much better fit than the previous item. The motor is still not happy. I have another motor on its way to me, different model number but still a motor with a built in controller. I will see is this helps in any way.
I have other projects to move onto, so any further work will be documented in an update video at some point.
In this video, I do cover some of the more daunting tasks, such as refitting the cassette cradle and refitting the perspex from door.
