Hello there! I’m super glad you enjoyed Kuwait, first of all I’m happy about your thoughts on us. And to talk about the two negatives at the end of the video I first have to say thanks for stating them, we need people to know about these problems and actively try to stop it. Secondly, while we don’t have a lot of green power we are working on it, the government is building the Shegayah green power plan in southern Kuwait which has a solar farm, wind turbines, and other green methods to create electricity. Thirdly, the pollution is a horrible thing that we Kuwaitis are also actively trying to tone down on, the government also added more environmentally friendly laws on industries and all that but still we need more work. Finally the littering, that is one thing me as a Kuwaiti have been acting against this, though it’s still largely present which is a sad thing I like to think it’s getting better because of the knowledge people have nowadays. I am not trying to devalue your comments since they’re actually valid, I’m just explaining what we as a country have been doing. I think personally the green energy will be the easiest to implement and the littering the hardest to stop 😢
Anywho I hope you’ll visit soon cause I’ll be inviting you to a lot of museums!!

This is an awesome video, i liked how true you represented your experience from the places you visited, prices, people… etc., as for littering my heartache when i see it after people hangout. Fortunately, Kuwait published EPA (Environmental Public Authority) in the late 1990s and is also developing its environmental laws to keep up with the fast urbanization and all the pollution that comes with city life. So, after the camping season is over(March), campaigns are made by the EPA to clean up the desert, in addition violates camps that harm the desert habitat since all these temporary camps are authorized by the municipality and paid insurance to the country.
Thanks again for your true feedback and representing my country beautifully!

You video headline is wrong Kuwait mostly grew from the sea trading , in summer pearl trading and winter is trading between Africa and India because Kuwaiti where very good in building wooden large boats. I come from Kuwait and we never grew with camels. There is nothing with camels it’s beautiful animal and God best creation

Another interesting video guys. As you are in the Gulf I do TOTALLY recommend Oman. I visited solo a few years ago, just birdwatching. I thoroughly enjoyed it, super friendly people of course, Arabs and south Asians, great landscapes and no skyscrapers. Oman has stayed low level and retained more of its traditions than elsewhere in the Gulf. Plus you can legally camp anywhere in the desert and mountains or along the coast.

I was working there in 1991 - 1992, just after the war.
I met many TCNs and OFWs who were brutality treated and abused by both male and female Kuwaitis. I also found Kuwaitis to be impolite and arrogant.
As for prices, in 1991, I paid £12.50 for a pot of tea and 2 pieces of cake, the equivalent of £33.63 in 2024.

Ugh, the trash is terrible but Kuwait is not alone eh! People simply have no respect for the environment they are enjoying! UK, EU, North Africa, all the same, crap everywhere! As a campervaner, prefering to camp in remote places, the trash is everywhere 😞 Most places we can easily collect two or three sacks full of garbage! People, you took it there, take it home with you and dispose of it properly!
