Duct tape will work as well. Been doing it for years and it stays on for over a week. Blow up the balloon, tie a long ribbon on the end of the balloon. Cut a piece of duct tape, fold it backwards so it can stick together. Place the folded tape on the top part of the balloon, and stick it to your ceiling. All u need is one piece of tape for each balloon and no it won't mess up the wall.. You're welcome 😊
You are correct, you don't need balloon glue dots, however, if you are doing a relatively small arrangement like ours, it uses almost 100 balloons. I have had to tear and fold tape and you can get frustrated after just 20 strips. Balloon glue dots are really easy to apply and very convenient.
@@balloonblowout6985 I've never had any issues with it. Done around the same amount. Folding tape is quick and easy. Both ways are easy to do and convenient. Just a different method for others who don't want to use glue
I love this idea so cute I did it for my daughters birthday it was book themed I went to a second hand store and purchased old kid’s books and placed the pages throughout the strings also and then I curl the ribbon ends too… I’m going to do this for her graduation 👩🏽🎓 in June with Faux diplomas 😉✨thanks for showing how easy it is
This is so beautiful. I do have an idea..what if you staggerred the balloons at different heights by attaching the balloon to eaxh other? I believe it could even more to the eye, and more 3D. It's just a thought, nothing to do with the magnificent work you did. It's really, so beautiful!
Does the ballon tape or sticky dots rip off the paint on the wall? or damage the ceiling or walls at all? Want to do this for my partners birthday in September however its not my apartment so I don't want to cause any damage at all :) thankyou x
This is a definite possibility with any adhesive. The advantage we have found with glue dots, however, is that steam melts them away quite easily without stripping the paint. We use a handheld steam machine like this one amzn.to/3ix6une however, a cheap blow dryer like this amzn.to/3iLVsL3 should work fine as well.
You can buy removable and permanent glue dots. If you get removable they’re designed to come off paper without wrecking it so they should be good for the ceiling
I couldn’t tie balloons for the longest time and I have no clue what I was doing wrong but now I think I could tie them even with ribbons without a tool. Idk why I suddenly became able to do it. But I’m sure I’d need one doing this many balloons otherwise my fingers would fall off
I just tied 150 balloons by hand (after blowing them all up myself!). It can be done! The skin on my balloon tying fingers is a bit chapped though haha.
Great job...but how do i place my balloons when the walls and ceilings are rough due to the type of paint used? I've tried managing it but it keeps bursting my balloons thereby spoiling my decoration
Thank you very much. Please I just checked out some dots on amazon and some of the reviews said that it removed some parts of the walls or ceilings? What do I do to prevent such in someone’s house etc. also to remove the balloons, will I just pluck them? Will be dots stay on the balloon or on the ceiling?

Duct tape seems it would leave a mark or would it come off simple and easy? The glue dots look as if they won't leave marking of any kind. IDK
Thank you 👏🏾

Yes
Would it leave marks on the wall?
Great idea thanks. Love your dress.
Best tip so far
Genius and it looks amazing. I'm definitely going to try this
Great tutorials.
Do you think 2 sided tape can work too?
Yes of course it work😎
Thank you, you helped me save a lot of money 💰
Watching for birthday 🎉🎉🎉 heLped
Super👍
Great job...but how do i place my balloons when the walls and ceilings are rough due to the type of paint used? I've tried managing it but it keeps bursting my balloons thereby spoiling my decoration
For rough surfaces, instead of glue dots, try using a low-temperature glue gun like this amzn.to/35BGvY4
I would try taping across the side that is going to the ceiling so you have a flat protected surface on the balloons before putting glue or glue dots!
Amazing work
Thanks for sharing this with us.
Very nice so lovely and very easy to do ☺️ thanks so much 💗🥰💗
Thanks i will do same on my birthday
clever, great idea!
I would love to try it at home
I can't wait to try this, thanks for the vid!
