I felt Sam stopped himself from saying more than he wanted too (because it was a difficult situation for him to be in). If you want to hear more. There’s an interview he did back in 2021 with Jules Sebastian & around the 20 minute mark, he discussed what was going on from his perspective.
At the same time I felt happy that Greg returned but I also felt worried about Sam departure because I was feeling like something really happened to them with Sam over the 5 years with him to me
I just feel like Anthony is very dishonest. Also I think that around 2009-2010, Anthony felt that Sam was leaving, because Sam did some occasional solo performances and released his first solo album. Then, Sam went from being the lead singer of the band to fading in the background while Simon started to sing more
@TalentedEarth44 Greg was asked to return to the band temporarily to help transition from Sam to another yellow wiggle, which was going to be Simon. Then Jeff & Murray decided to leave, so they asked Greg to extend his stay so he could leave alongside them, which he agreed to do
@TalentedEarth44 Can you send a link to it? Sam said he found the day before it was announced that Greg was returning temporarily to transition from him to Simon. That's from the interview with Jules Sebastian. Anthony said that Jeff & Murray made the decision to leave without him knowing. So it means that they were very upset with how Sam's departure was handled as well
@@jer-iety ua-cam.com/video/qaETu5bn-UA/v-deo.htmlsi=Tf6fbLDwLwy8LLm3 I'm not sure if this is the exact interview but I'll try to find the other interview with Sam
1:34 Poor Sam his my favorite wiggle if only he renewed his contract with the wiggles so let me ask every wiggle fan a question what would happen if Sam Moran renewed his contract with the wiggles
@halwiseman9420 the truth recently was revealed. The contract ending wasn't the only thing that provoked this decision. Sam was let go because he was being paid 200k a year and they couldn't afford him because the brand was almost bankrupt at this point and the GFC didn't help. By the end of 2012, there was little to money left and everything was founded out of the groups own pockets. Not to mention, Anthony saw something in Simon in 2011 that promoted him to be considered as Sam's replacement before Greg returned in January 2012. In all honesty, it's Mike Conways fault since he was the one who handled it and took the fall resulting in him being fired.
Hey, if you guys wanna blame anyone, blame Mike Conway. He basically left out the part of the plan that Greg's return was only gonna be temporary and that it wasn't to get rid of Sam. Greg mentioned this on his website and that Mike Conway is no longer the Wiggles business manager because of this.
So much was cut from that. We never got to hear what Sam actually said.

I don’t really blame Anthony or anyone, I mostly blame on the media that said something that was not really necessary.
