Mondo Media is lacking in money for now, animation is often expensive to made, and it's cost to made is probably depends on the art, the style of they making, and the complexity, but if the animation that they made is from a popular show and combine it with good writer, that will give a lot of money for them.

The Happy Tree Friends franchise must be one of the most unique animated series out there, with its adorable Characters and Hilarious Graphic deaths, the series stands out from the crowd and is still beloved by many today. But there has not been any new episodes since 2016 and we have not heard of when we will be getting new episodes.
