War of the Worlds style with the aliens would have been absolutely thrilling to play through. Although there is a game in the works too for WotW but would be amazing if a AAA studio put together an alien invasion - escape type game where buildings are being destroyed and real time destruction is going on.

Someone needs to make a multiplayer apocalyptic/horror road-trip game. Four players; driver, shotgun, backseat passengers, with the option to switch positions. Only time you can get out is at gas stations and rest stops, and only for a set time in order to forage and refuel. There are dead ends. You have to manage navigation and obstacles, and frequent monster/raider/other attacks. Just you, your buddies, your guns and the semi-open road. The goal isn't the destination; its how long you last 😎

      Peace on Earth?
Glory to God in highest heaven, and peace on earth to those with whom God is pleased
      -Luke 2:14
Glory to God in highest heaven, and peace on earth to those with whom God is pleased.” That is what the angels said one night to shepherds as they kept watch over their flocks in an area known as Bethlehem.
But when we look at our world, we wonder, “Where is the peace that the angels promised?” Things seem more contentious than ever before.
Let’s understand, however, the original meaning of that statement. A more literal translation of the angels’ words would read, “Peace on earth among men who are pleasing God.”
Wicked people breaking God’s commandments have created most of the wars and problems that we’re facing today. Yet God will bring peace to the person who is pleasing to Him.
A day is coming when Jesus will establish His kingdom on Earth. A day is coming when Christ will return as King of kings and Lord of lords. But He won’t be born in a humble stable in Bethlehem. When He returns, every eye will see Him. He won’t wear a crown of thorns, and people won’t crucify Him on a cross. When Christ returns, He will wear many crowns.
What a lot of people missed the first time was that Jesus came with the express purpose of dying on the cross. He spoke of it often. He told His disciples that He would be betrayed and crucified but that He would rise from the dead on the third day. He told them about this again and again, yet they seemed to somehow miss this message.
But it was for this very purpose that He came to lay down His life. He was not born to live a good life and provide an excuse for us to spend a lot of money in December. Jesus was born to die so that we might live. He came to pay the price for the sin of every person who has ever lived. He has a name that is above every name.
Writing about Jesus to the believers in Philippi, the apostle Paul said, “Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father”
      (Philippians 2:9-11)
Every person eventually will confess that Jesus Christ is the Lord. Some will say it reluctantly. And sadly, for many of these people, it will be too late. But if you will say it now, you can have the hope of life during your life on Earth and life after death.
Do you know Jesus in a real and personal way? Nothing this world has to offer will fill the void inside us because we were created to know God. Only Jesus can give you a life that is worth living and the absolute assurance that when you die, you will go to Heaven.

Fooster, that's no sandstorm! That's some intense daytime rain!
I'm an Illinois resident. I was only a kid, but will never forget how terrifying the May 2009 Midwest Derecho was.
That particular storm was nicknamed "the inland hurricane." It was broad daylight and suddenly the wind and rain was so intense you could only see a blur, there was no visibility even an inch away, and suddenly a branch snapping off a tree and hitting the house. And what I experienced with it was the tamest. Someone's trailer home was relocated altogether just down the street. Derechos and tornados fascinate me, but there's really nothing like being in one; it's a kind of horror all its own.

The thing is, brother, no one knows when it will happen. The only thing you can do is look at Revelation, and read over that entirely. That's the best idea we have of "how" it will happen, but *not "when"*... I think that's what's the most horrifying is not knowing when, but knowing it's inevitable.
Also, fun thing to know, the Ophanim, Cherubim, and Seraphim all do not look like the Renaissance version of "humans with wings". It's a lot more complex than that. Look up "Biblically Accurate Angels".

Every chance I get during the day when I'm running errands, I take the time to going around corners as if I'm on a race track like your apex turns and stuff like that in preparation of the day I believe I'm being followed. 😂
Edit: the last scenario? I went back to listen to when it began, and when I saw the angels I interpreted it as the trumpets being sounded in the heavens as trumpets in the Bible represent a kind of warning or announcement. So basically, a lot of people fear the day that those trumpets are heard in the skies, as this would mark the beginning of something really huge such an apocalypse or Revelations.

16:45, are you on about the old movie 'Duel'? 1971, In the Mojave Desert, David passes by an old truck while travelling for a meeting. The driver of the truck is a psychopath who finds David's overtaking offensive and decides to kill him.
I remember watching this totally at random when i was younger late at night on TV, it was just on. At a time when most people would be sleeping, ended up watching all of it lol hardly any dialogue in it just a man in a car being chased lol

I believe the last scenario was The Rapture. Angels/God come to take everyone away to heaven as the world ends. Which is what I believe those regular people being floated up signifies. It's odd because its not the same kind of fear that all the others induce, but it is still an end to life as we know. So there's that

    • @kaisokusekkendou1498
      @kaisokusekkendou1498 Рік тому

Yep, that's what this one was.
The "trumpet sound" that some people heat 'around the world' are thought to be signifiers to the end of the world and the rapture happening.
As much as I love the supernatural stuff, this was easily debunked from a number of reasons. The neatest was "concrete scraping".. a big frontloader scraping down an empty concrete pool.. makes a loud sound that reverberates off clouds and can be heard for miles. Crazy stuff.
But yeah.. the fear here would be more that the Rapture was happening.. and YOU aren't one of those taken to heaven!
Meaning you will be doomed to the terrors of the coming hell on earth as god is done with this place.

Fast foward about 3 days and i walk into garage and all the sudden i look to my left and theres spider webs attached from the hood of my car to the ground and nearby tool stand. Because for weeks we didn’t know what the fire would do. My coworkers and I were constantly checking the map to see if we were getting evacuated. The sky was that same orangish color. It was scary looking and it was windy, so you could see ash flying through the air.
