I had visions of something bad happening to that speaker for the whole video. Glad that a wayward screwdriver, thumb, finger or the goat didn't go through cone. Very nice result on this one. Hollow State radio at it's best.
Luckily the speaker was unscathed. I wanted to keep it attached as I would have been devastated if the output transformer had failed. It did turn out very nicely
You done a really fantastic job with the bush dac90a,it looks like new.couldn't watch all live as had power cut.but have seen it back together now.what was the polishing compound you used on the case as would like to polish up my kb fb10.i really hope you are going to keep the bush for yourself as you must be pleased as punch with the result.well done you and all who helped with this project
Thanks Mike. It was polishing paste no.5. There was a link put in the chat and I did a closeup of it. I will be keeping it as it’s got sentimental value as well.
Hi Graham I've a Bush DAC90A which I've had for many years and want to restore it and use in my workshop. I wonder if you can email me the documents you have so I can reference from it. I watch your Video on this radio and found it very useful . Pete Neal
