I wonder if dry shampoo will remove the discoloration in the handles... I need an everyday bag, so will make my own Dior book tote knockoff. The stripe across the body will be cut from a piece of fabric from the Oscar de la Renta design house, which I think will look nice. Will make a new wallet with remaining fabric. The body will be made from heavy duty ecru upholstery jacquard. I do plan to add feet to the bottom. I found your video helpful because it's important to know what you're getting into before investing time and money on such a highfalutin purchase (or DIY project). I had planned to add pockets to the lining but upon your recommendation, I think I'll make an organizer insert. Thanks very much!

The orange is the glue. Its a known defect. Take it to dior and they will replace it
