- Join the BUCKLEYS this week as they get away from all the kitchen chaos and celebrate james’ end of the play run.
Spending a weekend in a fancy treehouse at chewton glen, the BUCKLEYS do their best to keep it scummy :)

We had a really great time in a safari tent. It’s camping on crack. Kids loved making fires and being on a farm with loads of space, bonfires, bbqs and stone baked pizza. We enjoyed a few days without chaos. Still had beds, running water and a toilet but no electricity. So much fun.
Claire you are pure sunshine. Thanks for making me smile on on a hard night. And jimmy your no bad either!
The Isle of Wight is a lovely place to visit for a few nights plenty of day trips and places the boys will like too especially all the different sea side towns!

West Cornwall is a great place to visit. Lots of beaches, nice coastal walks, st Michaels mount is a really interesting day out.
Love Uno. Visit Kessingland, Suffolk. The walks are perfect for Paisley and the beach is accessible without crossing a motorway, you have Africa Alive and Pleasurewood Hills nearby for the kid too, few pubs for a nice lunch too 👍🏻
I literally live in my Hunter wellies but I'm loving James's ankle ones ! Clair is killin' that long shiny padded jacket... I'd look like a bin bag 😊 lovely family. I am so loving that tree house 😍

Very much recommend Marske Stables in Yorkshire - Dog friendly and a lovely place!
A place I really enjoy and is kid/dog friendly is Center Parcs!
The Nottingham one has a really good pool for the kids, and outdoor activities too.
Can be a lil pricey at times, but it is a nice lil break away!
Hi guys, can highly recommend Center Parcs sherwood forest near Nottingham. Fantastic for all the family and dogs. Plenty to do. Walking , biking, swimming, bowling. Plenty of places to eat at so there you go. Another mint vlog 👌 take care 🙂

Ewes water log cabins Scotland so peaceful and lots of walks to be had wee cafe right across from u and nobody bothers u it's that quiet . Cabins are amazing

We have a big problem with our dog pulling. Look out for a harness that clips the lead on the front (chest area rather than back) . Been a game changer for us as it stops them pulling and has our dog walking much calmer and to heel (he has super reactiveness so tries to go for all cars, people, dogs, anything that moves 😂)
Definitely should do a Norfolk Broads trip in the summer 👍🏻 plenty of things to do for the kids and dog friendly :)

If you’re looking for somewhere to go, Loch Monzievaird is great, up near Crieff in Scotland, lots of chalets around a loch, pet friendly and I used to go there as a child with my gran and her dog and had some of the best experiences of my life

Centre pars was our go to place when the kids were younger guys and dog friendly. The boys will love it nearly as much as you will.

Woodside bay lodge retreat in IOW, they do dog friendly, private beach, restaurant on site etc :)
I went with my son when he was around 11 years old to Lanark and we stayed at Lanark Mill. They are a world heritage site and there is a hotel or bungalow type rooms that you can have bed breakfast and dinner and there's a museum attached that my son loved. It's well worth a stay. Also Norfolk coast is brilliant for kids and dogs. If you head towards cromer,sheringham, west runton and get a cabin/caravan or Airbnb there it's great for families
This one made us both laugh out loud, that jumper is amazing! I want to go there just for the breakfast hamper. Two places to go is our house for a drink! Or Mablethorpe, the beach there is perfect and the town arcades are mint

Kings Arms Hawkshead is a good break. They had 3 cottages that are now a separate business but are dog friendly. The village is stunning and is on the edge of Grizedale Forrest.
Kippford is a stunning little fishing village on the Solway coast to with dog friendly places and stunning walks.

Traigh/Arisaig on the west coast of Bonny Scotland 🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴 in the highlands, beaches for miles, to get there drive through beautiful Glen Coe.

A fascinating insight into your world. Family walks… nearly playing live Frogger on the motorway (you did right not to risk it!) and those food hampers. Kitchen looking good, even if a deeper shade than expected, but as it’s real wood you’ve got options. Holidays with Paisley and the boys? We love the beautiful Beddgelert in Snowdonia. Lots of walks around the village and down the Aberglaslyn Pass and beyond, the steam trains, the pubs and it’s all very dog friendly.

I came across an advert for The Lakes by Yoo in the Cotswolds and it looks a very nice place for a mini break. Lots of lodges by the lake to choose from and some that are dog friendly. Love the kitchen and the floor looks great.
My rottie Angus does the same think when I play fight with my kids he gets in the middle and barks at me protecting them.

We had a collie that did the exact same. He would circle around the kids and bark at me or the mrs 🤣 Natural instincts I suppose to herd and protect

Clippesby hall in Norfolk has some nice lodges or if u really are skummy, it has camping pitches , it’s right on the Norfolk broads to hire a boat and near Norwich and Gt Yarmouth, lots to do for the kids in the area and very safe. kitchen making good progress and the all important Sonos speakers will make all the difference James 😉
I had my ensuite bathroom replaced last November. Part way through the job was tempted to change the colour of the tile as worried the room was too dark. However, decided to trust my original judgement with colours, and indeed when job was finished looked great. How you see things changes with light and background. Looking at bare plaster board changes how you see the colour of your units. Maybe wait until the job is done before making any rash decisions. Sometimes it is better to trust the process and stick to your guns.
Absolute legends … I recommend looking at Guy manilsons crafty camping , awesome treehouses and various other cool little kooky places to stay

Hey James and Clair ..great vlog again nice to see you in my neck of the Woods ...Hampshire ..Chewton Glen is near where i live ...im in Lymington but some places you may wanna try is Lepe Park, Hengistbury Head , Mudeford all nice places that are dog friendly and good walking spots weather dependant though ..floor is looking good but hope you get back on track with the kitchen 👍
