want to use with pa 28 so some instruments on my pnel in diff locations. can i program kobs to new istruments ..and way does the aatt kob not work a dumby?
This video describes the Gen1 version of the product that is now discontinured and replaced with the Gen2 version. The Gen2 version comes with a dedicated version of Air manger where all knobs works but the instrument assignments are fixed. If you contact the compnay they can sell the Gen2 without the dedicated software and you will need a copy of Air Manager to set up the instruments as you wish.
On the Dual G5 panel, the rotary encoder's push function is used to enter the menu screen for the G5s and then to select the options within each menu. The other rotary encoders do not use the push button function. On the analog panel, the push function must be made while turning the knob for the heading bug and heading deviation. The remaining rotary encoders do not use the pucsh function.
Will this work with MSFS 2020? I understand the MSFS does allow multiple displays like X Plane does. So how do you deal with this when running MSFS? Thanks
Yes, it works with FS2020. The Air Manage program used with the panel and purchased separately from Sim Innovations, creates and displays the instrument on a monitor you dedicate for that. It runs the graphics from data it retrieves from the FSUIPC data space.

Is the push button function of the rotary encoders included?

No FSUIPC, but it works with FS2020 / MSFS :)
Because MSFS doesn’t have a full frontal view without instruments like XP and Aerofly its a huge dealbreaker if you ask me..
