Informative.. but I have a common utility to use RDB method based on operation we have to perform.. no need to add query in connect SQL rule.. Simply pass query in.. { ASIS: DBPage.pyQuery}....pass query on pyquery
External database in the sense not connected with pega database rule? generally we create database rule and give url ryt. what means external database?
Database which is not completely part of pega, however can be connected through pega and CRUD operation can be performed. Example-: lets say there is an external employee table outside pega and you want to fetch employee details directly from employee DB instead of using api.Now a days most of the external data is managed through API.
