      @xNarniex I didn't know this was your first "real" high-end PC build! Your choice of components was excellent! That Asus ROG Z790 MB is killer! (Isn't almost anything in the ROG lineup supposed to be really good anyway?) And you can't beat that 14900k CPU! But some AMD folks might have a different opinion. The Kingston RAM is said to be excellent as well. That Lian Li AIO CPU cooler looks really nice, much better than any fan cooler. The 4080 video card was a good choice too. The only thing better would be a 4090, but those boards are 💰💰💰💰! Geez! And that 1,000 watt PSU is more than enough to overclock your new build. What games do you like to play? Your new PC should be able to run almost anything at "very high" to maybe even some "Ultra" graphics settings inside the game display menu. I can't imagine what your future builds will be like considering this was your first true high-end PC! Maybe go with a full liquid-cooling setup, where the CPU and GPU are both liquid cooled? You'll have pipes running all through the inside of the PC, not to mention the pump and tank needed to support it. But I've read those systems can be a pain to maintain. I guess I will just need to wait to see what you build next. Peace!

      Thank you again for the nice comment. I am very scared of a full water-cooled system but it is something I would like to try in the future. For now everything is running sweet and it's a beast both for streaming and gaming.

    Nice build. I see you didn’t get the extra rubber grommets as well. I reached out to Lian Li and they are sending out them out.
    I just got done with building mines. I used 3 140mm fans at the bottom.

    • @xNarniex

      Thank. Much appreciated! Yeah it sucks that they don't include them and the cheek on the website saying to but them from Ali X lol. I have sent a request for some.
      I was going to go 140s but the stock in the UK is rubbish and I got tired of waiting.
      Just need some white CPU cables and I think I may change my DDR 5 to white also. Gets addictive this PC stuff.

      @@sarahtrueman9406 I’m using 3 140mm SL fans on the bottom. 3 120mm SL reverse blade on the side doing a push pull with the P28 that came with the Trinity Performance AIO. Added the side RGB strips on them. 2 120mm SL fans for exhaust. Wish I could post a small thumbnail.

    If you rotate that AIO 90 degrees clockwise, you can route the tubes along the top of the motherboard so they don't cross in front of your nice RGB RAM and mobo strimers.

    Nice video and build. I'm currently about to do a build and deciding between this case and the NZXT H9 ELITE. I see on Lian Li's site they recommend basically what you have done here. 3 Intake fans on the radiator, 3 intake fans at the bottom, and actually 2 exhaust fans on the back. I read in one of your comments you responded to that you put the fans on the back of the radiator that this cooler came with, creating push pull. Did you do this after the build because of temps, or you did this initially and it just wasn't in the video? So that means you technically still had to buy 8 fans correct? 6 reverse fans and 2 standard fans. I don't think I saw it in your video but is there some type of controller that comes with the cooler to control all of these fans? It puzzles me that Lian Li didn't think to make a version of their cooler with reverse fans since their own recommendation is to use the fans as intake on the radiator. Turning them around doesn't look the same.

    • @xNarniex
      @xNarniex  3 місяці тому +1

      Thank you mate, very much appreciated.
      I went with this set up because I wanted maximum cooling and yes as per Lian Li website this is the best optimised layout.
      I certainly did do the push pull after and it was due to just having the spare fans that came with the cooler. A lot of people just rotate the norm fans I think, esp on the SL version but because I wanted LCD fans I had to go the reverse option.
      The i9 14900k is known to run on the hotter side so anything extra to keep it cool I thought would help but I see peak temps at 75-80 under heavy load which is fine.
      The cooler does not come with the Li controller so you either have to buy one separate or you can get them in the 3 fan packs but they are inexpensive and the app is actually decent.

      @@xNarniex thanks so much for your reply. Yes I’ve heard the same about the 14900K. It’s a very powerful processor that runs a bit hot. However for my uses and my build it’s just for gaming so it’s the Ryzen 7 7800X3D. As far as the fan controller goes thanks for the information. I have seen the 3 packs on the internet but didn’t know they came with a controller. I also didn’t see a 3 pack of reverse fans yet. Only the standard ones or maybe I need to look again lol. I do have some fans in my old build that I could use to put on the back of the radiator since I won’t actually see them in the case. That would save me some money if I decide to go with this case and cooler combo lol. Guess we will see how it turns out.

    Awesome build! I’m building something almost identical soon. Why did you replace the fans on the cooler? And what did you do with the fans that were originally on it? Thanks for the vid

      @xNarniex  4 місяці тому

      Thank you for the kinds words. Good luck with the build. It's really something when you build something yourself.
      I replaced the fans because they was not the same at the new TL range and I wanted the LCD display fans on the cooler. I have however put the others on the back making a push pull config and disabled the lighting.

    • @xNarniex

      You could do but you would be limited with space for cables in that configuration due to the drive bays. If you remove the drive bays then I would say it will be fine.

    how did you attach 2 fans on the rear panel? Do you really have lian li vision? can this be done in a lian li evo Rgb case?

    • @xNarniex
      @xNarniex  3 місяці тому +1

      In order to attach 2 fans to the rear, you have to lower the MB holder to 2nd default location and also the rear bracket needs moving. All are fully movable in order to have this configuration with no case modification. It certainly is the Vision O11 and I don’t know if any other lian li case has this feature.

    Whats the cable that’s next to Aio screen cable? I’ve seen videos that said it’s optional to use but not sure what it does

    • @xNarniex
      @xNarniex  7 місяців тому

      That cable I think you are referring to is the sata, argb input and fan cable. I think it needs to be installed, I just followed the instructions as this is my first lian li aio I had the kraken previously. It does have an option additional wire for direct rgb though you don't have to use.

    hey is the reverse blades to have more exhaust?

    • @xNarniex
      @xNarniex  3 місяці тому

      Hey mate. The reverse blades act as intakes but means you don’t need to flip the fans for this effect. If you want the LCD fans you do need the reverse blades as obviously you want to see the screens.
      On this set up I have, the bottom 3 and the cooler fans are all intakes and the rear 2 are exhaust.
