Two suggestions: Magnets for the hatch instead of that ugly sliding peg. The scale look that you took so much trouble to achieve is pretty much ruined. Second, Rubber bands? Really? Attach the wing with bolts or imbedded screws please.
The rubber band design was put there to allow the wing to fall off on heavy landings. Earlier designs did have a locking mechanism, but if you land heavy you end up splitting the fuselage. The cockpit latch could do with using magnets, but that would add a little more weight. You can do your own mods if you want.
@@knowledgebyte I know about rubber bands and wings, thanks. And a small magnet with a front peg would be WAY, WAY lighter than the PLA latch slider and a steel spring, especially when all the extra internal printed crap necessary to house the steel spring and PLA slider is removed.
