Then in my early teens I got home from school and was looking for something to watch and I saw Seinfeld, so I put it on because I remembered the name as a kid and wanted to check it out. "This is weird, wild stuff." at 2:19 is a nod to Dana Carvey's impersonation of Carson on SNL(10-5-91), a few years before this Seinfeld episode from May of '94. Dana Carvey used exactly those words in a specific sketch with Phil Hartman and Chris Farley. Apparently Carson never said "weird, wild stuff" but the phrase stuck in the pop culture collective memory.

Yesss! The episode I was requesting! This was the first episode I ever saw years ago when my mom watched the show. I got my own lobster shirt too.. YOYO MA!
No one used "shrinkage" as a common go to reference until Seinfeld. It was groundbreaking to talk about a man's teensy lil nubber on American television. I defy you to find any earlier reference.
I love watching your content and I watched Seinfeld and re-runs back in the day. You should show her Soup Nazi or Bizarro Jerry next. Again, love your content!!!
The Hamptons is on Long Island, part of New York state, the island extends into the Atlantic from NYC. The uber rich live out there, and rich New York City residents do vacation there.
Another episode where George gets caught doing something is in The Gymnast S6 E6. Not going to say what happens though. It is another well-known classic episode and all characters have their own varied plots like this one.
I've never noticed before when watching this on tv, but when George and Jane are talking by the pool, you can clearly see the giant pasties under her bathing suit top. That's hilarious. 😅
Well...tbf, when you originally watched it, it probably wasn't on a digital ultra-high resolution device and had a different aspect ratio. I thought I was going crazy a while back when watching old Simpsons episodes because I was picking up details I never noticed despite seeing the episodes a thousand times. Then it dawned on me that the episode I was watching shouldn't be "fullscreen" on my TV, because when it was broadcast the aspect ratio was more of a square.
Kramer wasn't far off saying that George's gf was "trying to create a buzz" for herself. Check out a blonde who shows a lot of herself in BOOGIE NIGHTS.
I always thought the scene where George is changing and the lady sees him, to be a blooper left in. Like she walks in sees him says the scripted line, breaks her character by genuinely laughing at him. Then George is like I was in the pool.😂

seems pretty easy to explain; cold temperatures constrict blood flow and blood vessels, of which the size of the male genetalia is made up in large part, therefore it will shrink when in cold temperatures.
As a hardcore Seinfeld fanatic, I really hate one episode: "The Dog." The whole plot is very bad and unusual. George and Elaine have nothing to talk about.
