This show seemed to go by so quickly and there was always so much going on but at the same time there wasn’t, mad props to mike and the rest of the crew designing this show!
@@LearnTheBeats nah I think it's cause Learn the Beats people know how to notate music nicely. Like it's legit ALWAYS a breeze to read through their sheets. Thanks so much for what you guys do !
@@ivangonzalez5720 way late but nah lol, I have the actual scores and this is absolutely all lifted from them. Maybe 2% difference but all the rehearsal markings are right, the dynamics, pretty specific performance notes, etc. I could believe someone would get all the notation right but there's zero chance they just happened to get all that other stuff exactly right on their own lmao
I know this is crazy late, but I’m thinking maybe the snares have choked up a little farther on the sticks. But as a quad player, i cant say I know for certain.
snares mvmt 2 bar 112, instead of being a repeat of bar 111 the last 2 counts is 3&4& = r l Rl Rl (right flams leading into the left flam downbeat of 113) just note to self and anyone else learning it
Joseph Hedner We’re pretty tied up at the moment, if you know anyone interested in joining the transcription team, have them email learnthebeats@gmail.com for more info about applying!!
Probably not on our hit list. If you know someone willing to make a preliminary transcription to help ease the work load, have them email learnthebeats@gmail.com !!
When the bass has to come in on the seventh partial of a sevenlet
It sounded like you can just play with the snares instead of trying too hard to place it.
Clayton Binner I see thank you clayton
At least itsthe 7th and at the end and not like partial 3 to 5 or something.

I love this bass writing (and the snare and quads writing 😄)
This is really cool! Very accurate :)
Probably my favorite writing this year 😍
One of my favorite Percussion sections of 2019. Underrated.
Good stuff! Crazy how close it is!
Shane Roderick Thanks for checking it out Shane! Congrats on a great season.
That's probably bc these are the actual scores, straight from Mike Jackson himself. In the same font and everything.
@@andrewmciver6218 This is not true.

One of my favorite groups to watch this year.
Dude wow the time this must've tooken! Thank you so much!
Such tasty master piece , very musical and so much flavor.
thats some musical ass battery music. not just complicated for the sake of it. also do the snare's left hands look odd?

Brayden Vernon a lil’ bit :)
maybe the snares are a little lower than normal?

Might have been the hardest battery music of the year in terms of counting
Best Book hands down

Well written, well played. Awesome job!

"This my favorite part"
Do this for crown!!! This is awesome!
Garrison Mack Crown is on the way!
LearnTheBeats you’re a god
2:34 cool snare feature
Going by ear, i'm pretty sure beats 2 and 3 of measure 77 in mvt. 2 should be an eighth note and a 5:3
Woooo!!
Yo bro thx so much, thoughts about making a blue stars vid?
sweet dreams baby
Do you think the LTB team could do a Surf 2019 snare LTB video?
Jev not enough finals week footage at the moment.
I'm guessing that it is still 168 bpm at D, I just want to make sure Edit: (Tempo at D is 190, lol)
How do you transcribe basses? That must be hard as hell
