  • Vhavenda throne claimant -- Princess Masindi Mphephu -- has disputed assertion that she doesn't qualify to ascend the throne as she was born before her late father was inaugurated. Princess Mphephu, daughter of the late king Tshimangadzo Dimbanyika Mphephu, was being cross-examined by the lawyer for the Vhavenda royal family, Carlos Da Silva in the Polokwana High Court in Limpopo. 32-year old Princess Mphephu is challenging her uncle (younger brother to her father), Toni Mphephu Ramabulana, for the crown.

It is not true that it is only when a prince becomes an installed leader that one qualifies? The corner stone is the cattle to marry the lady. If research is done on that amongst the vhavenda royalty, many were born before the father was installed.

Imagine this nonsense that your dad was a prince when you were born so you don't get the status o being born to a king. Rubbish
