Ma'am when will part 2 come, i love your explanations so much! The fact that you are posting videos for us ICSE kids 😭😭 we have very few teachers on youtube so it's really thoughtful ❤. Tempest is also a part of our syllabus, at first i couldnt understand the characters but after seeing your videos i have a better understanding now❤. This will help me a lot❤
I am more than happy to do that! Let me know what else I can help you with for your exam, and please share any of these videos with your friends who may need the help too! I will try to get Part 2 out soon.
Part 2 is published for you! I really hope it helps, and please share it with anyone else who may need help with The Tempest for your exam! ua-cam.com/video/REnAk37c5ec/v-deo.html
I also just made a video on Katherine Mansfield’s “The Singing Lesdon.” Please check it out and share with anyone who may need it. ua-cam.com/video/JcZOkeehulE/v-deo.htmlsi=JEI8OISUIgfdXNbz
@@drwhitneykosters it's worth checking out. I watched it in college. It is bizarre and semi pornographic since most of the actors are naked, and dancing, but the story is set to really good instrumental music. Essentially Prospero is imagining all of these fairies and supernatural entities are real, while he actually is exiled alone with his daughter. So it is a tragic version. It is hard to understand though without context.
Dr. Kosters what do you think of this poem I wrote called The Man and the Girl? The man gives me roses to love. The man gives me gifts to have. The man gives me money to spend. Then he met the girl and left me. The man gives her roses to love. The man gives her gifts to have. The man gives her money to spend. Then the man and the girl got married and not me.
Well, that’s really quite tragic, no?! Or, maybe not so much since the man doesn’t sound like the best catch, after all. Also, it’s interesting that it’s not The Man and the Woman. Seemingly, you are signifying youth, immaturity, or naïveté by using “girl.” Thank you for sharing!

Did you ever see Prospero's Books?
I haven’t! Tell me about this.
