Instead of buying a tub of perler beads, Michael's Craft store sells individual packages of the beads (with one color). So you don't have to worry about buying three tubs to get your desired amount of beads

I think you should explain the part on which beads to take out for all the sides to connect a little better. I tried making a smaller cube and it was difficult. this is probably a lot harder
