I’m sooooooo glad I found your video, would it be possible to include details of where you’re getting the artificial flowers from and how you’ll get them across as I’ll be in the same boat as you? And maybe details of your wedding planner too pretty please? Xx
Hi Fiorella, What a beautiful name you have btw!! So pleased you liked this video!! My wedding planner is Divine Weddings Santorini 🤍 We’ve bought our flowers from a range of The Range, Dunelm (for decorations and centre pieces) and Etsy (for the bridal bouquet and buttonholes)! We’re going to pop them in a hard case suitcase to get them over there!! Hope this helps, happy wedding planning 👰🏻 xx
@@AlexandraDevine thank you so much, I want your whole portfolio when you’re done pretty please😂, your videos have just made life so much easier/exciting 💕💕 Ps. Do you recommend ordering artificial flowers from alibaba aswell?
Hi Alexandra, we are in the exact same boat as you are. Our wedding would have been on the 2nd of August 2020 but got moved to 10th of June this year. Hope that we will both have our fairytale wedding this year. Fingers crossed.
Hi Lizette, it’s awful isn’t it, never thought we’d be in this position again this year!! Praying for a miracle (or that they separate the islands from the mainland!!) when the traffic light system comes out on Friday! We’ll lose more than two thirds of our guests if it’s Amber 😣 Wishing us both lots of luck!!!! 🤞🤍
Hi, really helpful with the flowers tip! I was going to go with real flowers and never thought of the import costs etc, I’m getting married in Rhodes in October 2022. Would you be able to let me know where your having your flowers from in the uk?
Hi Hannah, Thank you for commenting, I’m so pleased this was helpful!!! We’ve got most of our flowers from Dunelm and The Range and just made them up ourselves (I have zero experience with flowers but it was easy enough with a bit of messing around!!). We’ve made the centre pieces and the ceremony arch decor!! I also got some gypsophila pomanders (from dunelm) to attach to the chevalier chairs along the aisle! And I got my bridal bouquet and buttonholes from an artificial flower shop on Etsy!! I think the ladies name was Annie Thompson and she has a florist in London I think! :)
Thank you! I have now found a lady on Etsy who can do my flowers and they beautiful on the photos. Thank you so much for pointing the artificial flowers out it was such a massive help and eye opener xx
They do not go for artificial flowers in Greek weddings as it is considered bad luck. They have plenty of flower shops. Perhaps not on the actual island.
Hello! Loved the video, very helpful, I had no idea about the flowers. I am very interested in the venue you booked with Divine Santorini, because I have a few on my list and I don't think I am able to go visit them, so I would have to choose based on photos and videos my top 3 are Rocabella, Ciel and Veneto Santos. Did you choose one of their packages or they tailored something for you? Thank you in advance!
Hi so pleased this was helpful!! I booked Santos Winery/Pyrgos on a package with Divine!!! I booked in early 2019, so I think the package may be slightly different now!! I went to view Rocabella and Le Ciel but not VenetoSantos! We also viewed the Diamond Rock venue as well!
@@AlexandraDevine thank you very much for your response! Is it possible to contact you via mail or fb/insta in a private message? I would like to know if you managed to have your wedding and also about the venue you didn't like in real life. Have a wonderful day❤️waiting for your next videos about the wedding!
I’m still waiting for our wedding unfortunately we’re onto our 3rd date!! I’m hoping for 3rd time lucky🤞🤞 The venue we didn’t like in real life was Le Ciel, but so many brides really like it there, it just wasn’t the one for us! Rocabella is literally right next door to it, that does also have the road running in front of it, but 2/3 of their wedding areas are set higher up further away from it!!

Thank you sooo much for this. I am planning a weeding in Greece 🥺😍. I don’t even know where to start.
I wrote a romance book in 2018 about marrying in Santorini and his last name was “Divine”. I love your last name. It’s like a sign. Watching in Greece
Nice tips !

@@AlexandraDevine oh I so feel your pain! We went from 66 guests to 20... the worst feeling ever!!
Aw no way, sorry to hear! :( Was your venue okay with it?
@@AlexandraDevine yes luckily they didn’t have a problem with it. They are very understanding
