i haven't edited a proper video for 5 months now (if we don't count my quick vent genshin edit) and it's been really hard to make this video done tbh...i have been working on this project for 3 weeks, basically, ever since act 1 of arcane came out. i fell in love with the show and specifically with these two angst geis. with every new episodes drop it became harder to finish my edit because we were robbed on jayvik and got pure angst instead and i wanted to punch jayce few times tbh. now, that season 2 is announced i still hope to see more development for them in the future hard copium cause knows league's lore ahem, i still hopelessly wanted to finish it because i've been obsessed with this song and it's been a while since my last full video. i tried my best to show how many touching scenes they had and how their relationship was growing through the years and different situations. i honestly worked really hard on this and i'm happy with the result in the end, which is surprising. i have plans to edit few more videos with arcane, in tribute to my favourite characters (*coughs* s-silco...) and some others, can't promise it will happen 100% though as december will be a busy month for me and editing is not going as smooth as before :')
anyway, if you still haven't watched arcane, then what are you even doing? this show is one of the best ive seen in my life and everyone must see it... and please enjoy the video!

of course i just COULDN'T watch this on my phone from the gym, it deserved to be enjoyed from a proper screen and without anything else disrupting my focus... 100% worth it
as always, your skill with voiceovers is something i have to point out because each line blends so well with the music and fits perfectly, even timing-wise. idk how you do it, personally i struggle with matching the lines with the music and wonder whether i'm using too many or too few. it really makes your edits stand out and pulls the viewer in with emotion... you also put my favorite line by viktor to jayce, "when you are going to change the world... don't ask for permission". that was basically what inspired him to pick his life back up and use his talent/knowledge to change the world for real :') which is something they did TOGETHER, even though poor Viktor stayed in the shadows most of the time and Jayce got all the limelight, which ties up so well with that "maybe you're too proud, i can see it in your face" moment in the lyrics with Jayce speaking to the crowd. SCENE SELECTION SO GOOOOD
also let me tell you i got literal chills at the drop, when you showed them floating around and smiling, especially since after that it's all angst 😭 pls those parallels of Viktor alone while Jayce is with Mel hurt me badly
the ending reminded me of one thing i didn't mention in my season finale commentary lol i loved the moment when Jayce stopped Viktor from jumping down just like Viktor had done for him many years prior, and since you used both scenes in your video it was like the closing of a circle 🤧 such references are always so satisfying to watch
i truly hope season 2, whenever it comes, will provide more material for these two, first of all because they break my heart in the best way and secondly because i wanna see another emotional video from youuuu
ofc if they got an happy ending i'd be the happiest person on earth, but even without knowing anything about their lore in-game sadly i doubt they will 🤡

I had just been waiting for some good Vice amvs after act 3. Riot really will be kicking themselves when they could have been the first high production american animation with an mlm ship but didnt want to risk their "core gamer" audience going "ewww gays". A shame really.
fyi, the "as we fall" music video riot published 3 years ago features a mlm romantic pair. it's not as explicit in the music video as it is in "arcane", and the webcomic linked in the music video's description is where the real in-your-face gayness is. but it's still a canon male/male romantic relationship featured in a widely viewed official animation. ua-cam.com/video/vzNcSvKCOyA/v-deo.html
(edit: not to say your general criticisms aren't valid. and the music video's storytelling still suffers from the plausible deniability that a lot of LGBTQ+ characters suffer from in popular media, which deserves its own criticism. just that it isn't totally correct to say this is the first on-screen mlm pairing.)
