Let me make a suggestion: Stainless Steel Prop. Throw that aluminum prop away for good. Bravo stern drive props about $400 for one that will work. 5-blade High Performance and Last; won't chip.
Im looking at your brightwork after 2 years. Fricking fantastic!!!! What did you use? I see you applied 3 coats of epoxy before varnish. Do you think that was needed to get that gloss? I ask because I am 75 yrs old AND lazy (lol).
Thanks for watching, well the epoxy is going to keep the water out and the varnish will stop the uv rays. I think in total you can get away with just the varnish. But for me it was about 3 coats of west system 207 epoxy and 4 or 5 coats of Pettit spar varnish
