Best win in a very long time came from Quest Rogue. Playing against a shaman and managed to get a hold of krag'wa and murmuring elemental. My H-C Burgler gave me Yoggs puzzle box. Played it on 10 because I was about to lose and RNG stablized me. Krag'ed the next turn and followed up on 12 with another puzzle box. Turn 13 Murmur into Tess for 4 more Puzzle Boxes. Game ended with our decks almost empty due to multiple void contracts, his board empty, mine full of decent sized minions, him at 3hp and me at 1. Was super happy to see he had no direct damage in hand.
PS the quest can also carry you through a lot of games on its own.
I've been playing a deck very similar to this and loving it. Particularly v Control Warrior. I'm running two Schemes for more consistent Tess shenanigans and a few other minor differences. I cant tell you for example how many times Blade Flurry saved me. I like the Pharaoh Cats and need to pull something to try em out. Thalnos is a good idea too. Thanks for the vid! :)

Warrior made a lot of terrible plays and misplays. Also kripp got super lucky with the steals. Fun match but warrior definitely had the better deck

Kripp only play skill decks lately and only gets awesome clips. NICE
I think he got super lucky with the steals and the collector. My luck with those cards have been crap but sometimes you do get insane legendarys every now and then.
I don't know if im wrong but +2x Eviscerate and +1x Leeroy is a good tech againts aggro decks, the random burst potential of 14 dmg is insane
To all others good luck climbing legend with each game being 40-50 minutes

I went broke a couple times trying my luck getting legendarys from packs. I can't imagine how much money you need to have every card every expansion.
i prefer the togwaggle version of this deck. it feels more.... fluid? as in second win condition with togwaggle, but less AoE

I played a bit of both and I do feel like togwaggle better. Plus you can make it agro which is nice. I think steal rouge wins only if they steal good cards which is rare for me. The more I play steal rouge the more I miss steal priest

You can achieve that if you replace some of the cards with Spectral Cutlass and some weapon buffing effects.
Invector i guess ive been traumatised by weapon removal meta and could go back to that now, and let go of the quest

For me, rouge feels pretty weak for me. Hunter does almost the same thing but better. I wouldn't mind seeing a buff to rogue

I would try steal cards or the 2 drop that draws a card if you have a quest. I dropped collector too. Pilfer pretty good.

He had two more tesses, which are each really potent cards that create entire boards. the value of that against a bunch of chillwind yetis (which is about what I usually get from elisianna, TBH) is much higher. It's like the nomi priest control warrior ultra lategame. If you can't clear the huge board Tess creates, it doesn't matter if you're technically not taking fatigue.
But the big takeaway is that he still outvalued him even though the warrior had boom on curve and kirp drew togwaggle's scheme really late in the game.

Is the deck actually better with quest or cutlass?
IMO Quest is better and more consistent. The cutlass needs to be build around with weapon buffs and it's instant loss against weapon removal.
The win condition with the quest is building around Tess or Heistbaron Toggwaggle with value and infinite Tess while the Cutlasss version is to build a big weapon that makes you immune.
@@jonelliotralivelo3461 actually the decks with cutlass only have 2 cards to buff the weapon so i dont think it is really built around it, the thing is i really like the lifesteal but i guess quests is better cuz burgle rogue struggles more in early game, especially with the aggro meta were in. Also would it be so bad to run the 2 of them quest for early and some other occasions and cutlass when u have the buffs and a lot of other class cards to buff it up. What do you think?
@@leleo6787 depending on the situation but the weapon and weapons buff package consisting on 2 cutlasses and 2 deadly poison and Cpt Greenskin and Raiding Party seems really heavy and are dead draws in many situations. just imagine drawing deadly poison and greenskin before your weapon.
Cutlass needs Espionnage to constantly refuel it.
As for the question on running the two options: i think they don't really work together. The quest weapon with Blade Flurry is a good AoE now that vanish is gone but Cutlass can't be used with it and you'll rely more on what you got randomly generated.
SO in conclusion The Quest is better with Tess and you go infinite with her with the schemes and you upgrade her every turn (she won games by herself going infinite against any control decks) and against aggro you have blade flurry and infinite Zilliax.
While the Cutlass is better with Academic Espionnage and a good draw engine like Auctionneer and Prep Sprint or Tak.

I would say the quest is better for minon removal and the cutlass is better at doing face damage and healing. Comparing mana cost, the quest is way cheaper though. I dropped poison in my build but I admit I miss it sometimes. Not having it reminded me how good it was.

You could use the cat 1 drop or pilfer. I always get good cards from pilfer. With steal rouge, you don't really need draw power.

I think swift messenger does the same thing. Also the 7 mana beast with rush and taunt is similar. You could try that.

The real play is NOT to have her and pray to the RNG gods to discover Mecha'thun (if the meta was all control warriors I'd add him in a heartbeat). Won 4 warrior mirror matches that way. Had one end in a draw because the other guy soulthief'd my thun. Late in the game you just stop using the discover power and start dumping everything. The best game I instinctively saved the coin and a shield slam in anticipation, and wasn't disappointed.
Either way, 10 (5) random cards is probably not going to out-value 6 Tess's at that point (and especially not the one with Tog treasures).
SHows vid of it beating its counter, this deck is horrid vs all aggro decks.
Add eviscerate, leeroy, shadowstep. Evis can be used for extra removal or face dmg and burst potential of leeroy and shadowstep is insane
