if you are in australia defs try dayz down under - mods and hardcore survival its nuts if you want a real interaction survival experience

Are there any servers where you can be a fresh spawn and not be murdered within 5 minutes by fully geared players camping the coastline? So tied of running into geared players that refuse to talk and just kill you for nothing.
s k join PVE or RP servers there’s even servers with factions that have PVP events on weekends.

s k PVE is player vs environment rather than player vs player. Some have boosted predators or zombies or other mods. RP is role playing. There are also no KOS servers (no kill on sight). There’s a lot of options, I’m even in a server called friendly factions lol. It’s pretty vanilla though... and like I mentioned earlier there’s PvP servers with events on certain days or only in designated areas too, so you can get geared up.

I just realized when the server restarts it just means that it’s clearing off all the players, I thought it meant it reset the entire server so that everyone would restart from nothing, I didn’t know if you rejoined you kept your loot

There is no free wild AK, M4 or vss
There is custom servers with more loot more helicopter crash sights I always find the ammo for the vss but never the gun

Bizzarre question - Do any of you suffer from eye strain playing Dayz? Me and 3 friends started playing last week and within a few hours all of us were struggling with eye strain playing the game. We have no problems with overwatch, pubg and cod. But there is something with dayz that f***Ks with our eyes. Anyone have any ideas of a fix? We have already got fov max - post processing and p ai disabled. But still having issues.
1. Intensive enemy search in an environment with no many colors ( Green to Brown)
2. Bad FPS in DAYZ
I stopped playing dayz.
Backlight your monitor.
I would suggest using blue light glasses or gaming glasses, whatever you may want to call them, my eyes used to get very bad playing games or just from the lights and that has helped me a lot, it has make a really big difference, might want to try it
