- We must seek God first always. I find myself going to other people or depending solely on myself, and it leaves me nowhere. As a result, I kept making the same mistakes. But my life changed for the better when I asked God first for guidance. The Heavenly Father created me and he has a plan for me. So why not go to him first?

I know my life would be better in many ways if I seek God first and asked him for guidance. The main thing is I am putting faith in him, which helps me to help the world. Charity is the key in our walk with God, though difficult, very powerful for us. "Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins." - 1 Peter 4:8
What is meant by asking god?
I think God is trying to tell me something here. Right after watching this video I went onto youversion and saw that the quote of the day was Matthew 7:8
“For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.”

So true. As a 20+ years believer, it took me a long time to realize I was going to people before I went to God. Once I started going to God first, things always worked out much better! Bro, complacency can be so dangerous, like being satisfied or content with our faith… I am so guilty of this, for example, because I don’t sin like I use too, I think that’s enough, but there is so much more I have to do for myself and others. Thank You God. I believe this message is for me. Last year for some reason, I didn't qualify in one of my most anticipated competitive exams after getting through all the levels, final list didn't had my name in it. I was distant from God. I was devastated and even more when I knew there were some corruption in the whole process and merit wasn't the criteria to get into the job. I was sick and jaded and terrified but then I came close to God. I was totally trying to move on when God asked me to appear once again and I did. At times I go back and think what if this time the same thing repeats plus I've gone into isolation phase, technically I'am completely with God and I have been seeking for His guidance which is really sweet bc the end product is victory and justice. Right now, I just had a clouded thought of having some sort of study partner but then the video just cleared the air out that no honey, God's way is the best way. I ask God for forgiveness for I have sinned. Please God give me the clarity of thought and decision and make me understand and hear You. Deliver me from the spirit of doubt and laziness in Jesus mighty name I pray Amen❤

Thank you for sharing! Being a Christian for a decade and more but still forget to ask God first!! Bringing God to the situation we can’t control is wise. And we all need to understand what He wants for us. Got to read the Bible and pray💪

I have been on this walk for quite some time now. I've been in situations with no home, no income and nothing in the bank.
Yet, God has provided.
If God leads you to quit your job and commit to working for him full-time; let this be a testimony for you.
And here are some verses you should meditate on:
"But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night." Psalm 1:2, KJV
"This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success." Joshua 1:8, KJV
"But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:19, KJV

I am currently at a massive cross roads as to what I should be doing with work and I am really struggling to get clarity from God on what I should be doing. I want to do what is the right/best thing that will be Kingdom building, so that he will say 'well done good and faithful servant' but I don't what that exactly is.But I love this video as it'sa greta reminder that I'm not alone and I need to keep pressing into God, keep trusting him and knowing that his plan will happen

I'm still so new to the faith, I ask God first but confirm with other Christians to make sure I'm not crazy. lol Some of the stuff God tells me I always have to do a double take because it's so different from how I used to live. I question if it's actually God or the enemy putting random ideas in my head. Very difficult to find the perfect middle ground between allowing God to lead and making wise decisions, it almost feels like I'm cheating if I'm constantly asking God for the answer. LOL But I also understand that the stuff he asks me to do couldn't be considered cheating if it requires me to do difficult things I would never think of doing. Faith in God is so important when we ask him to lead us. Your video found me at the perfect time. Thank you!

@@Martindhoangcause it just feels like “obey me or go to Hell.” It doesn’t seem like love or I just don’t understand that well right now.
Like I kinda do, it’s just so many things to give up and at times it feels empty and it’s hard. Like I’m just shielding myself away from everyone else and it’s so awkward. It used to be so easy to connect with others, it still kinda is but things have changed with in me and I’m not so sure if I like that for myself. Maybe it just takes time and things will make more sense but since knowing bits and pieces about Him, it’s changed everything, yk? For better obviously but with new complications for me too.

Great video brother! However I believe it’s important to say that God isn’t a magic machine. Many people think if they ask God for something, they must receive it. That’s not how it works though. God only gives us what is good for us, even if we don’t understand it at the moment. His will shall happen, not ours.

last week Sunday the pastor preached about asking God and walking in His plan for your life, that same Sunday my friend and I were talking about how we should ask God for everything and belive what we're praying for. To not ask small things because we are 'scared' to ask for big things because He is more than capable. Then today, (Tuesday) a family friend encourages me telling me that she doesn't get why I wanna work 2 jobs ( as a 16-year-old because 😭) we literally serve a God who is able to supply my needs in an instant. Like bro. ANYTHING at ANYTIME He will provide and I will lay my needs before him. If they're in His will it'll come to pass, if not, then He's got only the best.

Sometimes God can send the right people your way to help you
A further advice is that, God will use people and moments to guide you, pray for discernment to be aware on how to tell the difference.
Also careful to not correlate feelings to God's voice. Keep praying for guidance and go to the scripture. Ask God for the answer and He will via scripture, someone, a moment, something, or a biblical video.
If quitting a job, definitely pray for guidance see whether this comes from a feeeling or whatever else OR IN FACT it does comes from God. In that case ask what to do, prepare to get a new job before quitting the current or taking a Church job with salary.. Recall that regardless, God comes first.
This is from my experience or what I learned.
