    OMG!! That was amazing! The difference is like night and day. The way the car looked in the beginning I would take it to the junk yard. After you finished with it I would take it to the new car show room. Your knowledge, patients, and determination is outstanding. Thank you for all that you do. I am sure your customers are loving you.

    So gnarly. I have several pet owners whos dogs are daily riders in their cars. Its rough, people dont realize how tough it really is to undo the woven in hairs. I wish some would just get trucks or jeeps with no carpet or cloth just leather/vinyl and rubber lol. But of course I need their business and I love their dogs lol. I have 3 but they're yard dogs not car dogs. Great turn around on this one 😅 hard work!

    I have found a palm sander with out the sand paper is awesome to vibrate the hairs loose and makes for vacuuming faster. I also find a fabric softener sprayed and let to dell will soften the carpet fibres making vacuuming easier. nice job on this one. Ottawa Ontario Canada.

    This is the best real world detailing video I have seen. Other videos only show detailing clean cars, how ridiculous...there are plenty of dirty cars to demo in a video. You did an amazing job and your husband is one fortunate guy. A lot can be learned watching a dirty car be cleaned. I bought the small Uproot Clean pet hair brush and it works well on fabric and carpet, not sure if it is faster than your method

    When I clean an interior that has dog hair in it I use a pumice stone , dog hair brush, drill brush, air blower and a shop vac. That car turned out great Chelsea

    I too have a dog that keeps my car a mess… I have all the preventive covers like model-specific weather tech mats, 2 layers of car seat covers, door covers, window screens - which does help BUT STILL hair manages to attach itself to the tiny hard to reach slivers of carpet around and under the front seats and any cubbies in the cabin. Car manufacturers need to give the option of a non-cloth floor bottom!!!

    Here’s a tip! The night before (if you can), spray down all the fabric and carpets with a mix of distilled water and unscented fabric softener 10:1. Really helps me in these situations.

    I cannot understand how people can let their vehicles get that bad. We have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, who does not shed that much, but when I pick up my father-in-law's Springer Spaniel, I put towels down on the seating surfaces and use my Lilly Brush system and vacuum the seats and carpeting after taking the dog to the groomers, veterinary appointments, when we bring her to our house when we dog sit, etc.
    My father-in-law no longer drives due to his age and medical issues.

    Great work! Love the idea of using tiles and a mallet for the mats!! One thing I was a little concerned with is blowing out the speaker grills. Speakers have paper cones (even those that are treated for moisture) and water will definitely cause them to deteriorate. Vacuuming would be better than blowing.

      It’s actually just a stiff pad detailing brush from Detailer image I picked up a few years back. It’s not too stiff that it burns carpets but is stiffer than the mother’s crevice brushes to work very effectively. Like $2 on their site

    Omg. That is pretty bad :(. How can we price something like this. Anyone have any suggestions on how much to charge or price range? Thank you in advance

    • @attention2detailswchelsea
      @attention2detailswchelsea  8 місяців тому +2

      I charge $250 to start but pet hair is $40 per row and excess soiling is $40 per row normally but this turned into my hourly rate so 7.5 x my hourly rate. I charged $600 plus tax for this

    I’m starting out detailing on my own, but was wondering if it’s absolutely necessary to buy a compressor? I was thinking I can use a blower along with a drill brush and vacuum. Thoughts?

    • @attention2detailswchelsea
      @attention2detailswchelsea  6 місяців тому +1

      No it is not necessary. If you want to use a vortex gun then yes I recommend it but I’ve made do without one for years

    Great video as always! I use Griot’s Garage rinseless wash properly diluted sprayed onto the fabric. Let it sit for a few seconds then vacuum. Hairs come out easily and the tools glide across the fabric so much easier. Makes quick work of it. Probably similar to fabric softener, but easier because you have it in your detailing tool kit.

    Some sort of shepherd?🤣🤣great video Chelsea! I loathe dog hair but when you’re done vacuuming it’s unreal the difference made. Was always my favorite before & after…I’ve seen that the fur eel company actually uses aerosol glass cleaner as a pre-treatment to reduce static cling on pet hair covered carpets…have you tried that?

    I see vehicles like that one on a weekly basis I just did a Nissan Maxima that I had to take the door panels off so I could get all the dog hair out all totaled it took 12 hours I found a great hair remover off of temu that is so awesome they were worried about the 700 dollar cost but once done they were very happy thanks for sharing I'm kinda glad to see I'm not the only one that sees this
