Thank you for taking the time to do the video! I just found this file, tried on my own (and failed!) before I came here. Off to do it the right way now. Thanks again. You are a phenomenal artist.
Thank you for the reply and your guidance to this link. I still do not have the same templates. I have three pages. White black and a brownish colour. I have ALL loose templates. Yours here looks like bigger solid ones. I wanted to make the smaller version of your soccer or ball.
The brownish pieces are to line the soccer ball which also hides all those join pieces in the interior of the ball once you have assembled the outer shell, which is shown in the video at approximately the 8 minute mark. There are markings on the white pieces of the ball and they should help you place the pieces where they belong. I have made two versions of the hinged soccer ball, they both go together the same way, one is just smaller than the other. If you want the smaller version, make sure that you are cutting the "Hinged Soccer Ball Smaller Version".
@@crafty_lou7 I did take the smaller one however I have many loose pieces and I don’t ha ek the rings as per your video. This is why I asked if there is a video on how to assemble these many loose hexagons.
@@Jacolette1 I don't think that I am understanding what you are saying. The video is pretty thorough on how to assemble the pieces. It starts with the bottom larger piece, which is comprised of 5 hexagons surrounding a pentagon (they are all attached) and then you build around that shape until the half-way mark where you need to attach the piece that you have at 8:50 mark in the video. If this piece is not in the file that you have saved, I recommend saving a fresh version of this file and making sure that this piece is cut. The file has writing explaining which pieces are the top and which are the bottom and make sure that you have a pen loaded into your machine, so that it draws the identifying marks.
@@Jacolette1 click on the link in the description box below the video. When you open the file, go to “customize“. Next, look at the canvas. Under the words “bottom half, you will see the bottom pieces: the large one that you start with, then ten white pieces for that portion, and five small join pieces and beside all of them is the “ring” piece. Next you will see the hinge piece. Then, under the words “top half” You will find the same collection of pieces as the bottom half. Below you will see “interior Decorative pieces” and the brown lining pieces that we were talking about earlier. Is that what you see?
