The weekend of July 9-10th will be a time forever remembered by the osu! community. Out of all the osu! tournament series in existence, only two of them stand out among the others: the osu! World Cup and Corsace Open. These are the only two tournament series that have achieved the highest level of prestige within the osu! community and the only two tournament series that offer second and third place badges. Never has there been a tournament series that comes even close to reaching the level of prestige and respect those two tournament series have achieved. However, on the weekend of July 9-10th had not just one, but two osu! tournaments that can rival the prestige of the aforementioned tournament series: Charlie's Perfect Math Class and The Roundtable. Since their schedules overlapped, most people would have to choose which tournament they wanted to play in and which one they would sit out. However, these were not your normal osu! tournaments. These tournaments were revolutionary, and their convenient timing gave us possibly greatest weekend osu! has ever seen.

Mrekk’s tiebreaker fc genuinely felt unreal to watch live. it was a moment to hold in time, during one of the absolute biggest moments, he showed just how great he truly is..
This weekend has been a blessing for the osu community. Roundtable and CPMC was really fun to watch as a spectator. Seeing mrekk being tiny compared to everyone else was probably the best part

living in south asia the timings for the stream were not comfortable but i stayed up all night to watch history unfold live and i experienced something truly wonderful and never seen before in the osu! community i hope to see the next iteration of the roundtable to include more international talent and looking forward to see osu! make name as a growing esports

This weekend was fucking hype, seeing Utami push a win against mrekk in the Grand Finals only because of accuracy, and CPMC's heavy prize pool was fucking awesome to watch as a spectator.

I loved watching BTMC's roundtable, and I'm sure CPC was also very fun. Both of these tournaments made incredible feats, and makes me so excited for whats going to happen in the future!
Insane video, one day we might witness the greatest history of osu! and the feeling is unimaginable. BTMC is doing the best work to make osu! an esport game.
Idk about making this a major esport game like those other tournaments but I like to have these kinds of tournaments where it feels like they are their own selves feeling like they are in their own homes. I dont know maybe I'm misunderstanding the comment so yeah correct me if I misunderstood :^D

This tournament brought so much publicity to osu from so many communities. Not only was this an osu tournament, this was a huge weekend content house. Props to ed and his tech team for setting all of this up, it did not disappoint at all.

As someone who is deep in the smash brothers scene, the way rountable is described feels just like summit, sucks that beyond the summit went bankrupt, but happy it made its impact on other games like osu!

This weekend is what made me want to train to become a top player, the community that Osu has makes it feel like the game will live on forever and I hope it does. I love this game and I've never been this passionate about a game either, great video as always n3rd! These tournaments were crazy entertaining to watch

Charlie actually hosted Smash Bros. Tournaments online during covid with also big (for ssb standards) prize pools. Later, sometime in 2021 Charlie started to sponsor some players and eventually started his own esports team. I am really happy that he actually supports other cool communities too. My point is: He has some experience inside competitive game community as a host (who is a one-of-a-kind) and a dearly welcomed guest, and later part of the community
