Omie did explain Marty's motivation for trusting X. Cause in 3.0 nobody trusted his character and treated him like nothing. The only character that gave him a chance was Jon Paul and that's why he wanted to trust him this once to pay him back for the trust he gave to him years ago.

Then X told marty about his scheme that he would created a new crew, become unfriend to anybody, he asked him to join him or no, also told marty to screw his own group (404).
X then stole marty group's 5 USBs, and would trade the last green with company. But marty didn't want to, then this happened.

This is a bad move. X sets himself back by giving up his racks. He won't be able to build up quick enough without help and doing this ruins the only relationship he has left. He loses the trust of everyone else and the GPUs to rebuild for a crumb of progression. OTT is right. If he goes through with this no one will ever trust JP. Everyone will eventually progress and when the next thing happens and no one will want to involve him in it. He will be first in this, but he will lose ever being first in anything else.

Everyone’s forgetting x came back to tell Marty about the deal he made this was a leap of faith for Marty he wanted to get the full set but didn’t like what he needed to do to acquire it so x bit the bullet and made a deal with the mfs he fucked over it was all supposed to get them closer to seeing what the mystery was but Marty let emotions get in the way of business that’s why x did what he did and now look Marty has to wait for Lang and everyone else above him to get online and finally agree to turn the usbs in when this could’ve been done three days ago
