I can relate, my niece can be headstrong while I trying to be a parent/guardian who is an uncle.
They have such a wholesome relationship and play off each other so well
Man rewatching this as a 25 year old adult, I will always get irritated by jade with her never listening and always disobey staying put out of trouble, it’s no wonder why Jackie didn’t have any kids in this series where he said he didn’t know anything about children back in episode 1 being 35 years old.
I'm 30 and I feel the same but when I was younger I didn't mind her disobedience
Glad I'm not the only one who feels this way. She's gotten annoying now where as back then she seemed like a likable character.
I think the problem is that very few characters get character development, and when they do it's occasionally forgotten about, if I portrayed this more realistically Jade would become less likely to involve herself in danger and will more likely put some effort in either her martial arts or trying to learn magic behind uncle's back so that if she does get involved she doesn't end up causing more trouble.

True she is disobedient but Jackie realises later on that if she didn’t intervene, he would not be alive heck with her help sometimes she has saved the world! So I do agree with you but then again she has helped a lot

I later learned that Jackie Chan wasn't a superhero and didn't actually have a niece named Jade but was a deadbeat father who is loyal to a dictatorship.
I still remember this show from WB11, later WB Kids and liked it a lot.

Who never cared for them when they were sick, who never bought them food or protected them when they were in danger like he was supposed to.

I have a problem. I can't find the episodes of season 1 and the first of season 2, it tells me that it's a private video, how to see the episodes
1:16 Finn should have kept the horse talisman with him. The dog talisman may have given him immortality but it does not protect the user from physical pain. But maybe, just maybe, combine both dog and horse and you might also be immune to physical pain.

And by showing off her family, she turned her classmate Jimmy's future self into a dark chi wizard wanted for seeking revenge on San Francisco. And she got her own future self fired for fighting in a mall full of innocent people.
