Just like a lot of other people i would like to see Sebastian Bach back in skid row because thats still the best fit🤘🏻but to also be completely honest, Erik is the better live singer and CAN hit the notes that unfortunately, how much i love the guy, Sebastian definitely cant anymore
The Skid Row catalog can't be sung with an aged voice at all. Even Sebastian hardly manages to do it now . Erik sings like Baz in 89. He's amazing! Great respect to him !

Bach at Erik's age can still sing better than him though. Booze and pot belly got him. Bach still sounds amazing when he toured with Steel Panther and that was just a decade ago i think
They can do stripped down versions. Dont compare the capabilities of a yiung dude to an aged sebastian. So what if bas cant hit his own high notes? I want to grow old with the origiinal members. Not a newbie.

When Seb brought Nick on Board it was clear he was the new star and unfortunately made him look and sound like an old man. I don't get the same vibe here the band plays the songs right and Johnny sings with the Fresh youth gone wild voice they deserve. Bonus lacking the ego and attitude Sebastián had that made him impossible to work with. I'm sure that's why Nick left after writing most of the music and lyrics for their new C.D.
Sebastian Bach has a very unique voice, It would be hard for any singer to compare their voice to him.... This new singer sounds great and has his own style.

Agree, he sounds amazing but you can definitely see the lack of energy in him compared to how he use to be. I hope he didn't jump back in too soon before his body was ready.
@@thelolguy007 Erik was going to be in South Africa for a while as an entrepreneur but it got interrupted as he had gotten leukemia. Thank God he pulled through and got the gig. Snake and the boys are in a good place with him.

wow i remember seeing erik on swedish idol way back in 2009! he sang iron maiden, skid row, and many other metal band songs! he was so amazing! this makes me so happy seeing him with skid row all these years later, as sebastian bach is my favorite singer, erik is certainly doing these songs (& sebastian) justice! thank you for sharing this video! ⚡️❤️⚡️

You'll never duplicate the original any time you bring in a new singer, but this guy does a great job. I prefer when a new guy just does his thing and doesnt try to sound like the guy he replaces. Wonderful job making the music enjoyable again. I have to say I was a big fan of Johnny Solinger R.I.P as well.

A not that long ago cancer survivor hits the road with Skid Row as a new singer, does a fine job, and gets crapped on by people? Jesus tap dancing Christ! Let the guy settle in and get comfy. I love Sebastian as much as much as anyone, but you know damn well he can't sing like he used to. Let Erik enjoy himself........ he apparently loves the hell out of the fans.
Tony was good but Skid Row's songs were too much for him to handle, he's a grown man and has gone thru cancer, so performing these types of songs was mayhem for him. I respect that he tried at least to perform the songs tho.
I've only heard a few of their songs. I was in a band at the same time they took off no denying Bach could sing his ass off . Now having heard this version with Eric he really does it justice. Saddens me to hear that he is suffering with health problems problems I think he is a great fit. Hope he makes a full recovery.

@@FranchiseSIX5 No they are Dave and Rachel's songs and the whole first album was written before Bach joined the band and no Baz didn't write anything after that. The songs are all Dave and Rachel's, Sebastian just sang them and now he ruins them. I'll take Skid Row with an amazing singer over Baz solo ruining the songs.
Loved it. I got the same goosebumps as I did the first time I heard it on the radio. He has the same tone... But a different voice. He sang the song the way it was meant to be remembered. ❤️🔥

Saw Skid Row when they were brand new out of the box. Erik is the only singer I've heard that does justice to the vocal of Seb. Brilliant.
