Lee is the freaking man! One of the few anglers that might influences what I might buy. If I am in the store picking up light beer and am on the fence of what to buy I am grabbing the Busch Light. I have become a fan and have been to a concert of Whiskey Myers 100% because I thought I better check this band out that was cool enough to sponsor a bass fishermen. I like to support the non endemic brands that support fishing. Lee is also one of the few guys on social media that will always take the time to respond/interact with his fans on social media. 100% would love to crush some Busch Light with Lee. Getting out with him as a guide on fork is definitely a bucket list trip.

My best David Fritz story. The year Fritz won the classic. My self and some buddy’s were going to Saskatchewan deer hunting. Sitting on the plane had my camo Ranger hat and David walks on to the plane. I nudge my buddy and said that guy right there. He just won the bass master classic. As it turned out. David and I were the last two in the customs line to get our guns. And I told him ,I had told my buddy’s who he was ,and that they wanted me to talk too him. Lol.😂. He’s says are you a Ranger man. I said yea I have a 1988 364 v. He was like when you get ready to up grade. Give me a call I just opened a Ranger dealership in Lexington NC. Lol. He’s like give me that hat. He proceeded to sign the bill of my cap. So my buddy’s could see it. I still have the 364. Great show Dave. Lee has got that swagger. Cool guy. Keep it up. Want be long until Jake’s takes.
This is crazy, tonight I was listening to this episode on my drive back to NW FLORIDA after fishing the Hobie BOS tourney at Harris Chain and Livesay passed me on I-10, literally while listening to him! Caleb Sumrall was behind him too.
Wow Dave, that was such a cool pod cast. I've watched Lee Livesays Fork tournaments several times and they never get old. I really hate what happened to him about the boat. Sounds like he took it much better than I would have. I would have been driving to see someone. I'm glad he is in a Phoenix. Great job Dave.
Hey Bill, I find my self watching those too. Lee is a great guy and it really sucks to see him screwed over. You are correct he took it a lot better than most would have. But champions overcome & once again Lee proved he is a true champion.
This years field is absolutely full of hammers. Going to be fun to watch. Can’t wait for y’all to come to the Sabine River. Total shoot out in my back yard.
Great show Dave. I am a big Lee Livesay fan, great angler and a greater person. My Grandson and I met Lee and got our photo taken with him at the last Elite tournament at Lake Champlain, he talked to us like we had known each other all our lives. What a rotten deal he was dealt with the boat, Lee is definitely the bigger man and it will become a positive. Can't wait for the Elite season to start, best of luck to all. Good show! Funny, the times I’ve been with Lee I was always impressed with his boat and how it handled in rough water…even commented on Facebook…had never heard of them before being with him. Certainly would not have the same outlook now…based on principle.

I can promise you this. Lee is as good as they get. He is fun dude to hang with & a cold beer just makes it better. I hope we get to see you at the classic. I wish I could agree to the beer but the classic is a gong show for us however there will be beers at some point
Lee needs to go out and prove Ballistics they were wrong for dropping him like that. I understand sponsors can move on and make decisions for their business but the way the did it was unethical. A pro angler can’t be an angler in competition without a boat. That’s like telling a NASCAR driver they aren’t getting a car 2 weeks before the first race. I imagine Ballistics will take a hit after the word spreads. Awesome show once again, Dave.

I’m a lot of shocked that Ballistics did that 2 weeks prior. He’s made a name for them. That’s a dirty move that might if not probably turn out negative for them.
