- The humorist ponders other people's questionable fascination with astrology, ghosts and clairvoyants (and don't get him started on mistletoe enemas).

The most problematic part of a crystal ball is that it can start fires from direct sunlight, similar to magnifier glass. Gotta cover it up and keep it out of direct sunlight, unless you prefer your sofa “well done”
And then it all goes FOGGY... LOL 😆🤣
Please make this a regular segment
He’s pretty regular, as is Jim Gaffigan, Faith Sealy, and Nancy Giles. All thoughtful social comic commentators. Ben Stein used to be on, also legit.

This segment made me remember Andy Rooney. Thanks. Carry on.
Thank you David Sedaris! I needed this segment on my Sunday morning. It's not closed minded to question superstition and magical thinking, it's being reasonable. Too often I encounter dogmatic thinkers who are closed off from the possibility that they let their credulity get the better of themselves. Keep it coming.
Yes it is perfect for ignorant old fools When I watched him give that segment it was like just watching an ignorant fool speak about things he know nothing about, and trys to brainwash other elderly people of their foolish thinking...... Never speak with authority on things you are not well versed on..... It just shows that the show is catering only to the old and to the d•u•m•b
Thank goodness you will never grow old!
@@leobonek3204 tries...
@@leobonek3204 How is he being ignorant? Can you explain?
I had a little crystal ball that I sat on my windowsill. It was pretty. Then, I noticed the sun was causing the wooden windowsill around the crystal to smolder and burn. Not good energy, after all. White people do strange things sometimes.
I... LOVE...THIS...GUY David. A perfect end to the show. Fun...ny! The leftover mistletoe...🌟💯
It's a perfect segment for the ignorant /for the elderly ignorant
Well happy mother's Day to him..
He still looks great, glad to see him again, wise and acerbic always.
Great Author
Love your work, David Sedaris!
So sad..... The ignorant people follow him
David is basically an uniformed idiot.
David Sedaris is an American treasure; Sort of like a gay Mark Twain.
THIS IS HILARIOUS!
"Mistletoe enema" is at least a new addition to the lexicon.
"Mistletoe industry", followed by mistletoe enema... What boggles my mind is the ever-expanding credulity of these folk; from microchipped vaccines to Michele Obama's a man.
@@victoriamilonas1942 Yeah. 🤦🏾♀️
My mom called me and said, “If you are interested in watching something boring, don’t miss that David Sedaris segment.” So here I am.
LMAO! I'm sure David would love reading THAT.
“ excuse me “ ….. “what ?!” 😂
Crystal balls are just majestic to look at, but sometimes I don’t always view it as a prediction to the future. Sometimes, people can’t believe all psychics and such. That’s how I usually see it, here, David.
Lol cover it up so it doesn't catch your house in fire.
Lol this was great !
Only in New York or LA
My favorite...❤️❤️❤️
Happy Mothers day .
Mistletoe enemas not covered by insurance, I hear ya, girl 💛
Welcome to religion. Leave your brain, with its reason & common sense, at the door.
😂
Why would I waste energy judging him when I can delete him more quickly?
Shouldn't knock what you don't know
Very true, you are the only intelligent person besides myself that has commented in this section♡♡♡
Western medicine is just as devoid from connection to Spirit.
It's just different personal or group beliefs, not world truths.
It's not what anyone has faith in, David.
It is the degree of faith they put into.
It's all Maya Creating more Maya.
Kabbala Sefira Da'at
Mr. Sedaris, here's my rebuttal.... FRED ROGERS. Sure, you can throw negative judgements on him for not looking at his health from a scientific standpoint. But why should you? Who are your to judge another for their beliefs? And who am I to judge you for judging them? It's a moot point, really. As long as your not causing physical harm to others, que sera, sera...🇵🇷🇺🇸🗽🦂😎
I am glad you put your comment up but it was way too mild , David is a f•O•O•l for getting in front of a camera and putting all of that down..... It makes me think that it's s•t•u•p•i•d for me to "watch their show" that they would put this "fool on" at the end.... It just shows such "senior ignorance"..... I've worked in the holistic field for 30 years it's insanely effective/ the medical world is insanely UNeffective overall.
Wish that burst appendix away?
