Fascinating! Absolutely FASCINATING!! I can't even comprehend how you came up with this, and then executed it so perfectly. Such skill and patience. Robbie is one very lucky woman..and Gary is pretty darned lucky too!❤🤗 Thank you both for sharing so much of your talent with us.
This turned out fantastic. Gary you are awesome, made this for your wife’s garden. What a labor of love 💗 I’m certain this raised garden will be treasured for a very long time.
Wow! That is a beautiful planter, Gary. Very well done! Thank you so much for documenting the design and construction for us. I know that making useful videos takes a lot of work as well, and I do appreciate it. Take care.
Oh my goodness, Gary...this is BEAUTIFUL!! You and Robbie are amazing!! You remind me so much of my Daddy...he was always making things and loved collecting junk he found by the side of the road. I'm definitely going to try and make some of these to use around my garden. Thank you so very much for sharing this awesome video!!
Now, that's a labor of love. It's beautiful, Gary! And, very clever to make it not permanent and easy to move about. You're an engineer, aren't you? Well done! ~ Lisa
Awesome! Thank you for sharing Gary. You amaze me with your creativity and problem-solving methods. Both you and Robbie are excellent teachers and I am an eager pupil.
Boy, Robbie are you not on spoiled but blessed to have such a wonderful husband who would do such a labor intensive planter for you and put in lots of hours and work that's total dedication! All just for you. Gary your a gem and what a beautiful planter, I am totally blown away, it's beautiful to look at and its great that it is moveable all at the same time. Excellent video on how to, anyone would be able to follow the very detailed instructions and helpful hints. Great Job!
Very good concept in general, but that it can be moved, built to any size, that it looks so good, interlocking, sturdy, can be built with very little skills-woodworking or concrete, it’s an awesome idea! And there’s the added bonus of you making the “mistakes” (aka discoveries along the way) for us so we can learn from yours and not make the same ones ourselves, even better!! Thanks for sharing this!
So cool in every way! One day your grandchildren will be telling their children all about the man who built it, even cooler they can watch you build it and also make their own!!
Thank you. Your the first to say that. That's the look I had in mind. Also their interlocking stonework has survived many earthquakes and living in California that's something I think about.
Robbie, Gary is the most talented man I have ever observed. His ideas are incredibly innovative. He has to be the hardest worker I’ve ever encountered “on video”. His work ethic is more than commendable. I could go on with the list of positive attributes, but my comment would be too long. Both you and Robbie are truly blessed. 🙏🏻 BTW, since you are so successful at cloning tree collards, tomatoes, and other plants, would you mind cloning Gary? I would appreciate being the first in line for the first one. There just aren’t enough excellent men like him in the world. (All in fun.) Been subscribed for a few months. I love your channel, love your long videos, learned a lot, keep them coming. God bless you and yours. Evy
Truly inspiring as well as beautiful and practical! Thank you for sharing your knowledge. You and Robbie are remarkable people. God bless you both and your family. I always look forward to your next video. Keep up the great work that you are doing. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👍👍
I shared it with my son. I think he will be interested in trying this sometime. He loves to make stuff. He built our well house, and many other projects here. Gary, it looks great!
I love this way of doing it . I love all your gardens and Robbie's too . The projects all look amazing and easy to do . Thank you for sharing and showing us how to do this project .
How in the world did you keep it all straight in your mind, bless you what a patient man !. You must have a back made of steel ! I wish I were your neighbor ! I've subscribe, I'm anxious to see what's next.!
Brilliant!👍🏻😊 Also, with the mass of the build blocks I believe it could help to save water from evaporation and also provide warmth for the roots. Well done!
Brilliant!!! Robbie has been talking about this and she kept saying when it's done Gary will show us. I have so waited for this and I will have to say I am not disappointed. It's beautiful I love it. Any little chips or gaps or wrinkles just adds to the beauty, it looks like it's been there a while. I know you said it's a good seating height, could you please tell me what it measures from the ground to the top. I watch Robbie's videos all the time, this is the first time I've seen one of yours and I truly enjoyed it. Wow, two creative, brilliant people together is wonderful.
Thank you. The top 3 layers are 15 inches high. With the footing on the slope in Robbie's garden it is as high as 20 inches. The standard height for chairs is around 17 to 18 inches.
You two are so very creative and resourceful. I really enjoy you allowing us a peak into yalls wonderful sweet way of life. Thank you and much love from Nashville TN ❤️
Thank you. California has a bag law to encourage reusable bags so there may be a lot more thicker ones available. The thin ones here would work as long as they don't have holes.
I’ve been waiting on this! Woohoo! Thanks Gary! That’s amazing and very attractive! You know, that would be a beautiful stone wall. I’m female so probably would not take this on but I just love it.
@@RobbieAndGaryGardeningEasy I just hope you don’t walk into Lowe’s one day and see your idea for sale as a raised bed kit and someone else making millions and not you!
I've been waiting for this video for quite a while. It's ingenious, simple and inexpensive. Love all of your videos. I brag on them to everyone! Keep them coming!

I'm going to pour bags of cement to edge a flower bed one level high. Thank you Gary for a answer to my problem.
I know this may be too late but here's a link to a video using simpler formwork to edge a garden bed ua-cam.com/video/v81M_Y_TUJQ/v-deo.html Thanks.
As always, yours and Robbie's projects do not disappoint! Love this raised bed. You made it look easy!
